Single hopped with Citra, this American Pale Ale has a burst of tropical fruit aromas and flavors, with a touch of citrus notes, and a finishing dash of graham cracker character.

Pours an unfiltered golden color with a sudsy oatmeal colored head that grips the glass and keeps a modest cap on the beer as you drink it. Beautiful APA. Nice tropical citrus notes on the nose, with tangerine and some mango for good measure. There’s also a biscuity malt note.
The mango is more pronounced on the taste, with room for the tangerine and a delicious biscuity malt finish that is clean and drying, just incredibly drinkable.
The APA is a style that, IMHO has been run over by the proliferation of IPA’s/NEIPA’s, which is a shame, because a well-crafted APA is one of life’s guilty pleasures, again IMHO.

Translucent , light caramel in color with no head but great lacing. Aroma was quite muted. The citra hops were there, and pleasant, but nothing to write home about. Taste followed the nose. Some light citrus notes, but very one-dimensional. I like citra enough that I enjoyed the beer, but it was very pedestrian overall.

A very subtle sipping beer. It seems light at first, but the range of flavors is not to be missed, and you have to sip it slowly to get them. All the flavors are quiet, but present, and they blend beautifully.

Had two pints on draft at the Pillory Pub in Plymouth for about seven dollars. Was pleasantly surprised to see this, as I didn't know their beer made it to MA. Very solid, looking forward to trying their other offerings.

On-tap at the brewery. Should have started with this one, but oddly had it after Hobbit Juice, their DIPA. It was still seriously delicious, which is a testament to how good this beer is. Heavy juice bomb, also on the West Coast side of the style. Figured they’d be another brewery following the hazy trend but they’re killing it with the “old school” hoppy beers.
