Golden in color and transparent. White frothy/foamy head.

Aroma: fruity, earthy, floral notes.

Taste: mild bitterness (subdued), piney, lightly sweet, earthy hop finish, light to medium mouthfeel, deceptive, you would never guess this is 9.10% ABV. Unique imo. Unlike the vast majority of DIPAs out there. I was pleasantly surprised. Great lacing as well.

Had on tap at the brewery. Drinking this fresh is incredible. Clear, amber beer with a small head. Tons of Mosaic hoppiness, stone fruit and dank resin, some nice fresh leafy hop flavors too. Not overly sweet but the body does fill you up at 9.1%, no alcohol heat. This was a spectacular beer and the hoppiest I've had from them.

Slightly hazy, big foamy off white head, orangish body.

Wonderful aroma of pineapple, mango, slightly vegetal and peppery.

Candied orange and peppers on the palate. Hints of berries, and a sweet, dank finish.

Crisp and lively feel.

Look - Soft orange coloring.
Smell - A nice fruity one.
Taste - The taste is a slight taste of fruit and that is followed by a kick of hops.
Feeling - A smooth alcohol flow to a burst of fruits.
Overall - It's a pretty good drink that I will happily drink again if I am at a bar that has it again.

The look is a yellow with some orange shining through. Incredibly balanced and smooth. Great nose that is floral and honey and citrus. The floral hops shine. An excellent beer!!!

On-tap 6/5/2016 at Bukowski Tavern in Boston, MA, served in a nonic half-pint glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains citrus, some berries, floral hops and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out with a strong but not over-powering burst of floral hops followed by mildly sweet flavors of citrus and berries. The malt character is hearty and brings a very good balance. The berry flavor is much more subdued than I expected. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a very good beer to drink for a long time.

32oz growler from Beer'd. Pours a translucent pale golden color with a half inch of head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is, like the name indicates, loaded with berries. Strawberries, cherries, raspberries, and some citrus along with some piney notes. The taste is lots of Mosaic hop flavor. Berries but with some herbal and piney hops. Boozey with a floral/herbal finish. Very dry. Medium body. Overall, another solid Imperial IPA from Beer'd worth seeking out.

Canned on 7/20/18

Pours golden orange with a sizable two-finger white head; great longevity on the head, and plenty of lacing walling the glass.

Aroma has some solid dank tones and boozy grapefruit that interact with the malty elements of the beer nicely; plenty of earthy pine, floral tones, smooth hop presence, dank citrus, and just a hint of wild berries.

Taste is big on herbal pine and grapefruit notes, and stone fruit, with a softening malt presence on the mid-palate and some dank cranberry, wild berry medley on the finish.

Mouthfeel is both weighty and juicy, with a good level of carbonation strengthening the brighter tones of the flavor profile; so smooth and consistent, with bare minimal booze presence going down.

Really well-executed DIPA that strikes on its berry tones subtly, but with great nuance throughout; definitely an easy go-to if you like your hoppy beers with a wild berry undertone.

bought growler from brewery on 2/14 and drank same day...poured into a tulip glass. nice dark reddish-amber color. no head to speak of but leaves creamy rimlets on glass. You can smell the berry from the glass (it is named after the Frankenberry breakfast cereal they tell you at the brewery) along with a subtle earthy (oat/grain) hoppiness. Drinks very smooth and hides the 9.1% ABV well. Let it warm up a little, the notes realty come out as the brew sits in the glass. It's a very nice drinking DIPA that is quite different than the typical new England DIPAS that tend to be more tropical and piney. Give this beer a shot, whether or not it becomes a favorite it is one you will enjoy due to its uniqueness.
