Can was dated and fresh, not sure what was up here. Session ale looking with floaters in the glass. Muted aroma and weird flavor. Weakest display of mosaic hops I've come across. Thin mouthfeel on a boozy 9% DIPA. Blah. I'll update when I get a chance to check out a different batch. Don't see cans much in New Haven County though.

Golden color and clear. Decent lace on the glass from the minor head.

Fresh but very mild aroma. Good balance--smells like a pale ale despite its DIPA designation.

More earthy than most, this beer is "dark" flavor-wise. The alcohol is understated but notable. The hop is also low for the style. The body and carbonation are as one would expect, with a bit of chewiness.

Look - Soft orange coloring.
Smell - A nice fruity one.
Taste - The taste is a slight taste of fruit and that is followed by a kick of hops.
Feeling - A smooth alcohol flow to a burst of fruits.
Overall - It's a pretty good drink that I will happily drink again if I am at a bar that has it again.

Dipa with Mosaic hops. Tangerine, melon and orange. Thin biscuit malt backbone. Lighter in body and feel. Dry, crisp and citrus bitter finish. Sweetness is held in check. Pretty good, but not their best.

Slightly hazy, big foamy off white head, orangish body.

Wonderful aroma of pineapple, mango, slightly vegetal and peppery.

Candied orange and peppers on the palate. Hints of berries, and a sweet, dank finish.

Crisp and lively feel.

bought growler from brewery on 2/14 and drank same day...poured into a tulip glass. nice dark reddish-amber color. no head to speak of but leaves creamy rimlets on glass. You can smell the berry from the glass (it is named after the Frankenberry breakfast cereal they tell you at the brewery) along with a subtle earthy (oat/grain) hoppiness. Drinks very smooth and hides the 9.1% ABV well. Let it warm up a little, the notes realty come out as the brew sits in the glass. It's a very nice drinking DIPA that is quite different than the typical new England DIPAS that tend to be more tropical and piney. Give this beer a shot, whether or not it becomes a favorite it is one you will enjoy due to its uniqueness.
