The salesman ( one ) at this cramped store was not well infotmed and he was pushy . Surprized to see “ world class “ rating . Less trusting of BA ratings . The salesman was holding one Pliny for me . At purchase He over charged me and said to me “ you must buy more than just the Pliny to get that bottle . There are better places out there .

Stumbled in there prior to heading to lunch at Guadalajara. Looks like a regular ol' liquor store. No real vibe to the place. Quality of their wares was decent. Their beer selection was pretty limited. One side of an aisle and then the fridges along the back wall. They had some decent stuff. Found a Hangar 24 Hammerhead, which was nice. Had lots of local goodies like Garage, Ironfire, etc. The owner (I assume it was him) was super nice. Glad I stopped by. If you don't mind a bit of a drive south, Holiday Wine Cellar has a much better selection, though.

Liquor Depot may have the best selection of beer in the area, imports, craft, domestics, the store is clean, well stocked, beers are priced, and they have great service. They carry Russian River but it's hard to get Pliny, I think they hold it for their regulars. I have been coming here for about a year now and I was able to buy Pliny about 4 times, quit asking for it after too many denials. They carry regular craft and get a lot of specially beers like barrel aged stouts some I have never seen in other stores in the area. Jimmy and Kareem are really cool dudes, they know beer, and are willing to find what you are looking for. I visit once a week usually pick up something not available in other stores. In the area, visit, you won't be disappointed.

Best selection in town. They have a lot of specialty and hard to find beers. The service is top notch, Jimmy really knows his beers. Ask if you ever need a recommendation. If you haven't been in you really need to check it out you won't be disappointed.

First of all, I must say this is a gem of a bottle shop that not too many people know about. If you live anywhere near Temecula and are sick of the same old beers at Bevmo, and hate driving to Orange County then this is your store. Going on a month and a half since the release of Bourbon County and a ton is still left on the shelf! Service is like no other. They know what they are talking about and if there is something you want, and it's distributed to Cali, they will get it. Just let them know. Pliny almost every week along with all the other Russian River brews. Can't say enough about this place. Go see for yourself. You won't be sorry.

You'd think that Liquor Depot was built especially for the new breweries popping up in the region. Its interior is large and extremely clean, and the beers are located towards the back. With so many shelves, I thought that I was going to have a thousand varieties of beers to choose, so it was a surprise that I "only" saw an aisle and a half of beer. The shelves are clean, and with the exception of one brand of beers being out of date (Stone Smoked Porter with Chipotle Peppers; why are there so many stores which still have this beer on the shelf?), the beers I saw were well within their sell-by dates.

Much of the selection is focused on local breweries, especially the new-coming breweries around Temecula. Expect to find Left Coast, Stone, AleSmith, Coronado, Lightning, Epic, Aztec, Ballast Point, Ironfire, Black Market, Aftershock, The Bruery, Cismontaine, Lost Abbey. You can also expect to find "special" beers like Sour In the Rye, Supplication, and Deliverence. A bit of a surprise was seeing very few imports for sale.

One great surprise came at checkout. I was offered a chance to purchase Ironfire's India Pale Lager which they had just received. I was also given a heads up about some of Stone's barrel-aged beers coming in on Friday. Unfortunately, living in Orange County doesn't help me much, but it was nice to know from the cashier.

If you're looking for one-stop local brewery shopping, Liquor Depot should be your best bet in Temecula. It's also conveniently located near I-15. But if you're more in the mood for imports, Old Town Liquor is nearby.

I don't know if I should admit it but I go here almost everyday :) They always have deliveries coming in of really good and rare beer. Staff knows what they are talking about and are knowledgeable about release dates and when stuff will actually hit the shelves.

They get Pliny almost every week...that's really all I needed to say...

Although we've had a boom of new craft breweries opening, for a while pickings were slim in the liquor stores in the area. Sure, we have BevMos and we do have a couple Barrons. Old Town Liquor is still kickin' with their good thing. But those places are all a bit far from me, and they were missing one thing that Liquor Depot has rectified.

Not only does Liquor Depot have what is required for all my hophead friends—Stone and Green Flash and Russian River, etc—but they get in the sour beers, too! Yes, finally! They also reliably update their fb page with whatever hot new brew has come in so I don't have to miss out.

Who has two thumbs and digs Liquor Depot? This guy.

This place is a true find in SoCal. I came from Vegas in search of Russian River beers. I looked EVERYWHERE - hunted high and low, and it was hard to find more than a few bottles here and there. But then I took a chance at this little seemingly non-descript place in Temecula not too far off of the I-15, and boy am I glad I did.

This place is great. Looks like a convenience store, but it is packed to the gills with fantastic beers. If you like Stone brews or Russian Rivers beers, this is THE place in SoCal. And the staff is super knowledgeable and extremely nice. Just one of the best beer buying experiences you can have.

I would recommend anyone who enjoys great beer that is anywhere near the area to stop by.

Thanks to Jimmy and Kareem, I've written off all other liquor stores in the greater Murrieta-Temecula metroplex. Their selection is phenomenal, and I wish I could give it higher than a 5. I'm a hophead, and with their Stone, Russian River, Knee Deep, Green Flash, and every other hop monster accounts, they knock it out of the park! That being said, they couldn't be any more knowledgeable on all forms of beer, and they're beyond helpful for making suggestions. They're also happy to take requests and work with breweries to get their products on the shelves. The service is unreal!

Excellent job overall!

Thanks, guys!

First off, I have to say that everyone who works at Liquor Depot is knowledgeable and very nice. They greet everyone with a smile and are willing to answer any questions. This place has the best beer selection in town. It is the only place where I can find Pliny The Elder. Their beer is always cold and they are always getting new beers in all of the time. If Stone, Russian River or any other brewery has a special release, Liquor Depot will have it. Trust me, if you enjoy good beer like I do, you will love this place.
Best selection in town hands down!
