L: Brilliant amber with 2” off-white foam column that dissipates to a thin film moderately fast.

S: Floral, mild malt, faint citrus, some light grain aromas. Medium malt aromas with some caramel and biscuit. Medium low yeast aromas with light fruit. Medium hop aromas with floral and citrus.

T: Big malty, fruity, citrus flavors with a citrus grapefruit rind bitterness. Very fresh with flavor changing as it moves through your mouth. Malt is moderate, hop flavors moderate, hop grapefruit rind bitterness is moderate. Very well balanced. Dries out a bit on the finish with a lingering malt and fruit bitterness that suggests a lightly sweetened tea.

F: Medium body and carbonation.

O: This is a damn nice IPA with big well balanced, layered flavors.

On tap at the brewery. Deep golden clear body. Smells pretty malty. Lots of caramel malt and some piney hops. Tastes of grapefruit, caramel sweetness. Piney bitterness. Medium to medium heavy. It’s kinda sluggish, really. Very average, but nothing wrong with it.

Pours a clear amber color with a smallish head and almost zero lacing for a house IPA this is BAD. Smell is better its more malt forward then i like notes of citrus with some floral hops a grainey finish . mouth feel is low carbonation but had some floral hops with alot of caramel malts. Not a fan of this one if thisis the "House IPA" i dont want to visit.

Quite an exceptional aroma with a fruit dominance that floats at times towards citrus/grass but mostly stays in fresh sweet fruit.
Orange towards amber and mostly clear. This had been in the growler for a couple of weeks but still poured with a small mostly white head and was carbonated at the low end, which is fine with me.
The hop flavors stayed through the drink although a bit subdued from the aroma. A smooth bitterness with no bite but apparent presence. There was nutty grainy quality that may have been a grain addition or an English ale yeast quality. I'm not quite sure, but it rounded out the flavor quite nicely.
Simple moderate feel. The 7.9% abv is no obvious in taste or impact.
Very solid. Able to share the whole growler with one other with no fatigue.
thanks Drevis.

To me this was pretty much a run of the mill IPA. I enjoyed it but I can't say it stood out over a lot of other IPAs I have had. I actually thought I was getting a little bit of a smoky taste but this might just be because I was drinking it along side the same beer with Serrano peppers added.

It appears the ABV on this one fluctuates. The BA listing says 7.9, my crowler is labeled 6.9, and their website says it's 6.7. Still, the can also says "House IPA," so I guess that's what this is.

Pours a dark, very clear amber with a fluffy white head.

Smells malt-heavy (it was canned 15 days ago), with some nice nodes of biscuit and hay against some floral hops.

Tastes like it smells: malt, spices, and flowers and nicely bitter throughout. Starts with barley that's almost British-seeming, with biscuit and toffee shining through. This moves quickly into bitter hops and more leathery malt, finishing dry with light floral nodes.

Nicely complex, but a little unbalanced.
