Beautiful color; foams and fades to a ring of fine light bubbles. Unless I missed something, the bottles doesn't say there is hibiscus in this, simply calling it a red farmhouse ale. But hibiscus there is. Hope you like sweet band-aids, because that's the predominant smell. Something a little smokey and meaty lingering in the background. Taste more or less follows. My impression went from "I hate it" to "it's not so bad ... once you get past the plastic bacon flavor" to "uh, you're just justifying because you love Prairie and the bottle is nice." It falls short of ok but rises above offensive. It's pretty too look at though.
