Served on cask at Jester King Brewery 8/8/2014. Dark with a fair amount of head. Amazing chocolate raspberry desert aroma. Light bodied and a bit acidic, the fruit and roasted malt characteristics predominate. Would have preferred a bit heavier mouthfeel. A very subtle chili flavor accentuates the acidity.

Red brick edge to a deep brown. Smells like a chocolate covered raspberry (with a little kick). A small tartness comes with the fruitiness of the raspberries. Then cocoa and cinnamon and a long dry finish. Mouthfeel is tannic like a California cab, but still wonderful. What a great beer.
