Black color with a small tan head that lingered on the circumference of the glass.
Subtle peanut butter aroma with coffee. A little bit of chocolate.
Taste follows the nose. Peanut butter, not overpowering. Coffee. Hint of chocolate.
Thick mouthfeel, almost like I ate a spoonful of peanut butter.
Very nice beer.

Black in color with no light penetration. There's a quarter inch of creamy brown. Dark chocolate, peanut butter, and faint coffee are the aromas that greet me. I'm tasting decadent dark chocolate and peanut butter flavors. The mouth is lightly oily and creamy.

This beer pours dark, nearly black, with a small head of tan head that bubbles up slowly. Continuous streams of carb fizz to the top and the beer settles with small islands of brown carb floating on the surface.

An awesome nose of chocolate covered coffee beans and creamy peanut butter. Not too sweet, only slightly bitter. A perfectly inviting balance to this stout.

Dark roast coffee, peanut butter, hints of malt on the tail. The beer gives you everything it said it would and more. The roast from the coffee, the creamy nutty peanut butter, and then that added complexity of melted chocolate. This is really good.

Creamy, thick. Warm and so damn smooth for nearly 12%. Lingering stickiness.

Damn freekin’ great beer from a brewery that is on my Bucket List. Some of my most bestus beers are from Prairie. To be honest there are some brews that are just OK. This is not one of them. Black pour, no lacing, covered up alcohol at 11.9% is great. I feel honored to be drinking this right now as I rate this.

A: Jet black with tan head and solid lacing.
N: Peanut butter, chocolate, and some coffee.
T: Outstanding, full on peanut butter with chocolate and coffee mix, you cannot get much better.
M: Medium
O: Loved it, this is the perfect treat beer. Flavors are on point, nothing is too sweet or too harsh, just a solid stout with loads of flavor and smoothness.

Very tasty, well-crafted beer sampled on tap at local gastropub. Great-looking dark black color, some nice mild tan head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells great, deep peanut butter nuttiness as well as dark roast coffee and some milk chocolate. Tastes similarly, along with vanilla, caramel and malt. True to other reviews here, the overall taste was a little more oily and less creamy than I was expecting, but it was nonetheless delicious and unique. Smooth slightly creamy mouthfeel, just the right amount of carbonation. Excellent beer, well done! This brewery always amazes me.

Beautiful black brew with a strong dark brown head.

I don't know what peanut butter coffee is supposed to smell like ... but this definitely does. Chocolate and roasted barley round out a very thick, chewy, dense aroma. If there's an off note in there, I can't find it.

This does not disappoint on the palate. It's a thick, chewy, massive stout, and tastes like chewing on a chocolate peanut butter candy bar. It's thick and rich, sweet and strong. Even the coffee is readily apparent. Mouthfeel is superb. There's a touch of heat in the chest representing the high ABV, but that's it.

As this is, very obviously - almost obnoxiously - a peanut butter stout, some may simply not like it. However, as dessert beers go - as peanut butter stouts go - this is truly incredible. A very impressive beer.

Really dark brown color with brown head. Aroma has quite nice peanut notes with chocolate, fudge and some liquor. Taste has intense roasted malts, some umami, quite savory, dense, thick, earthy with a good amount of roasty bitterness lingering on the finish. Full bodied, really smooth on the palate. Quite easy to drink, smooth, roasty and bitter. Aroma leans towards a modern pastry stout but the taste is more classic and straight forward.

Pours a hazed chestnut with a thumb of mocha colored head. Viscious, no head retention or lacing

S: Peanut butter in spades, some coffee

T: Follows the nose, a touch of booze & less cocoa up front. Coffee hits back a little, but the peanut dominates as this warms, a little woody dryness, a little booze lingers at the edges. Dryness, peanuts & cooffee in the finish

MF: Medium body, subdued carbonation, thins once a little warm & then opens back up closer to room temperature

Very nice take on the style, wish the body would've held up better

12oz bottle poured into a snifter

A- pours a viscous syrupy black color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that reduces to a ring around the edge

S- bold aroma of roasted peanuts up front, followed by rich earthy espresso, chocolate, toffee & caramel, mocha cream and creamy peanut butter on the back end

T- roasted peanut flavor dominates up front with an authentic peanut flavor, unlike many peanut stouts I've had. Mid-palate gives some earthy espresso notes, along with dark chocolate & mocha, charred malt. The finish gives flavors of peanut butter mixed with espresso and bitter chocolate, more peanut on the linger

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a slightly creamy mouthfeel and warming finish

O- best peanut stout I've had to date, the peanut flavor is authentic and holds up to the coffee and base beer, outstanding
