Pours rosé in color with a light pink head that doesn't last very long. Smells of raspberry, lemonade, strawberry. Taste is very acidic, like wow this beer is super tart. Light-medium bodied, moderate carbonation, crisp. 10/10 on the can design though.

A dark pink color with a light pink, rapidly disappearing head.
Sweet fruit aroma.
Taste of strawberry and raspberry.
Slightly tart.
Not fruity enough, not tart enough.

Pours a slightly cloudy medium pink color with a big fizzy head that quickly fizzled out. Very nice strawberry aroma. Starts out with a decent tart / sourness, I get the mix of raspberry and strawberry. The lemon and lime kinda throw it off a bit and I feel is unnecessary. Carbonation is a bit overdone, sourness is moderate. Overall an ok fruited sour, not my favorite.

I don’t know much about beer. I probably don’t even like most beers. But this beer was terrible. (For an unrefined uncultured palate such as mine at least) It tasted like rotten fruit. I could get a little of the fruitiness and sour while it goes down but I had to make a point to block out all the unpleasantness, and then I’d still get hit with a foul aftertaste. The wife was also not a fan. Cool looking label at least

12oz can. Poured out a clear, reddish color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of berries, lemon and some caramel. Sweet raspberry, blackberry and tart lemon taste. Some caramel sweetness with a sharp, snappy finish.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a tulip glass.

Pours a hazy plum color with a finger of pinkish-white head. The head leaves a few spots of lacing before settling into a thin ring.

The beer smells like a lemon slushie, with some faint notes of strawberries and lime. Has a modest wheat backbone.

The flavor brings notes of lemon and lime upfront, followed by some strawberries and black cherries. The wheat malt is subtly present. There's some vague salinity throughout.

The feel is medium-light bodied with modest carbonation. Surprisingly fluffy and creamy with some lingering tartness.

Overall, a pretty solid gose. It doesn't quite accentuate the advertised flavors but it's still flavorful, decently tart, and drinkable.

L-Pours a two finger headed bright pinkish/red neon colored beer that's opaque. The head dissipates after a while.
S-A sweet and sour aroma of strawberry, raspberry, lemon, and lime. Wheat as well. Smells like a daiquiri in the most natural way.
T-Taste follows the nose for sure. Strawberry, Raspberry, lemon, and lime followed by a nice wheat finish. Sweet and sour. A classic Gose done well flavor-wise.
F-Light bodied and light carbonation. Honestly a little too flat. Not as good as I would like.
O-Pretty alright. I'm not the biggest gose fan, but this one is done fairly well! I like the whole "slushy" idea for the beer. Its sweet, fruity and sour. Not hitting everything for me is kind of a big deal for Prairie, but it's still solid.

Poured heavily from a can into tulip two months after bottling. I'm a big fan of both the style and the brewery, and I was excited to see such a fresh batch at my local shop.

Look; Very fitting, bright red-orange with a tightly packed, small bubbled one finger head that goes away within the minute.

Smell; Not showing all the cards, I pick up mainly a creamy funky strawberry with a hint of lime that accentuates the funk and saltiness characteristic of the style.

Taste; My favorite part of this beer, the taste hits my mouth with the feel and slight taste of lemon, overshadowed (but well balanced) by the strawberry. On the finish I begin to taste the raspberry most prominently. Letting the sip sit for a while brings all the flavors together in a creamy limy bouquet that doesn't linger nearly as long as I wish; not docking points, just expressing my appreciation for this phase of the consumption, yummy.

Feel; Love the light carbonation and lemon-like body that tingles in my mouth. A little salt on the rim of this one would probably do a great trick (if you're into that kind of thing).

Overall; Great Leipzig. I love the look and taste of this beer, really wish that the flavor would linger on my palate longer but that quick-to-go'ness is typical of the style in my experience. A wonderful beer to hang outside with on a sunny song-bird type of day, a 4.25 from me.

Spritzers... They're not just for the wine world anymore. Beer has their versions and they come by way of Prairie and the fruit induced sour ales like these.

Dark in mauve and cast in an ominously foggy haze, Slush quickly commands the session with brightness. Fruit aromas abound in a strong berry and citrus array along with a sharply sour note. As the taste greets the tongue, the early palate is awakened by the juicy radiance of ripe berries, light taffy, cobbler and savory pastry crust.

As the sourness washes away the bulk of malt, the middle palate expounds its citrus taste with a burst of lemon and lime. Accompanying flavors of crabapple, gooseberry, white grape and yuzu propel the citrus flavors while the more robust flavors of raspberry and strawberry develop into more of the raspberry flavors along with a tanginess of rhubarb. Trailing into a decidedly acidic taste, the late palate is sharp, clean and highly thirst quenching.

Medium light in body, what starts slushy on the palate finishes quite dry and refreshing. A peppery tannic character aids in dryness, along with the acidity and alcohol for an ale that drinks much faster than it should. A medium to light linger of berries and cider come clean with a snappy texture and a taste of sour sangrias.

Pours an effervescent pinkish amber with a sliver of fast-falling beige head. Traces of lacing & head retention

S: Tart raspberry & lemon

T: Follows the nose, some dryness as well up front. Tart cherry & lemon as this warms. Finishes very dry with raspberry & lemon tartness

MF: Medium body, delicate carbonation, a little enamel striping stickyness

Pretty darn drinkable, a good take on the style

Strawberry amber in color. The strawberry and citrus notes come to the fore. As with sours, the 6.1 ABV makes it sessionable. A pleasant blend of fruited flavors makes for a sippable, not gulpable, libation.

Actually found this beer kind of lacking in that typical Prairie wild ale sourness with the body just as watery and underwhelming. Just watery lemon taste mostly kind of sad I was expecting it to taste as good as the other sours. Cool art though
