Bourbon barrel-aged stout with toasted coconut, chocolate, and marshmallow. We took our stout base and added lots of sweet notes with toasted coconut, chocolate and marshmallows. With the added depth of flavor from aging it in bourbon barrels, this beer is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Pours a deep dark brown to black color with a thin layer of head. The nose is candied with a faint trace of bourbon. The flavor tastes like molasses blended with melted Chocolate Twizzlers.
This is overly sweet and not terribly impressive especially considering the price tag.

Jet black pour with no head to speak of. The nose and the fumes released into your sinuses at first sip are amazing. Certainly sweet, with cinnamon, vanilla and chocolate airs rising into the nasal rafters. The flavor is complex, and about all the ingredients come out to take a bow through tasting. Chocolate might be most prominent, but vanilla, coconut, sweet but not cloying marshmallow and caramel are all there in support. Savor every sip, this one's a beauty.

Pours like motor oil with a soda-like head that dissipates quickly. Smells like S'mores, tastes like S'mores. Extremely sweet and not as boozy as you'd think considering the ABV. I don't really get coconut, and the bourbon influence is subtle. Overall this is S'mores in a glass, and I absolutely love it.

12oz bottle poured into a snifter
Bottled 12/20
A- pours jet black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that reduces to a ring around the edge
S- initial aroma gives bold notes of milk chocolate and coconut, followed by marshmallow and vanilla bean quickly following. Undertones of bourbon barrel seem to enhance the vanilla and marshmallow, as well as adding oak, barrel juice and caramel
T- sweet and malty up front with bold notes of chocolate, followed by creamy marshmallow, vanilla beans and fresh coconut. Mid-palate gives some brownie batter before giving way to oaky barrel, which adds bourbon, caramel and more vanilla. The finish gives more bold chocolate, with a linger of bourbon, vanilla and coconut
M- heavy body with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues into a chewy, slightly warming finish
O- bold, complex and a slow sipper, fantastic

The addition of just the right amount of bourbon barrel taste really improves the base Weekend stout and makes it less cloyingly sweet and more interesting and well rounded. The marshmallow is fantastic, cocoa nibs, hint of chili. Really fantastic overall.

With the exception of no head in the pour, this is a stellar BB aged stout.
Dark chocolate brown in a Stone RIS glass with no head.
Wonderful aroma of vanilla, chocolate, and marshmallow.
Very smooth and viscous MF. Not always the case with BBS.
The taste transitions well from the aroma with marshmallow, chocolate and vanilla.
Smooth finish.
One of the best beers alive tasted from the brewer.
