12oz bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Los Altos, CA. Brought to Sydney and shared with Sam and Rich.

Pours lovely and clear yellow, with a rocky, frothy head of pure white that leaves chunks of lace behind. Body is light and fresh. Clarity is surprisingly good: there's a slight haze to it, but it's much clearer than I expect for a Saison. That's actually no bad thing. Fine carbonation. Overall, it looks really good.

Nose is bright and clean, with a fresh green hoppiness that reminds me of New Zealand hops: crisp and very slightly herbal. Under it is a slight earthiness from the saison yeast, along with a touch of something savoury.

Taste is lovely. The saison body gives it a pleasant smoothness along with some floral rosewater characteristics, while the hops give flavour through the centre and towards the back without providing an overt bitterness. Slight frothiness in the feel lightens everything and helps accentuate some of the faint sweet floral characters and hop notes.

Overall, this is really gorgeous stuff, although why I'm still surprised that Another Beer From Prairie Is Gorgeous I don't really know. This is the third or fourth of theirs I've tried, and they just have such a knack for providing beautifully subdued complexity and wonderful drinkability to their beers. Top notch.

Beer pours a cloudy pale gold with a head that leaves minimal lacing. The smell is lime juice and yeast. A very bright and inviting smell. The taste is reminiscent of a wheat beer with pepper, coriander and spices but followed by a bright lime flavor. A nice hoppiness at the end rounds it all out. This is such a delicious and refreshing beer.

Very delightful mellow glow with a happy, creamy cap of 2 fingers. Exquisite.

Nose is of lemon, yeast, pepper, berry, fruity candy, dry grass.

Flavor is just insanely delicious. Lots of great peppery yeast notes, lemon rind, clove, banana, with a grassy hop bite and fruity candy at the finish.

Feel is another bull's eye. It's extremely refreshing, crisp, almost too carbonated but just right, and has a dry, grassy finish.

An outstanding, stellar Farmhouse Ale. I'll be picking more up.

Pours into my Hennepin stemmed glass a hazed straw color with a fluffy bone white head that settles into a frothy mass after quite awhile.Lemon oils really stand out in the nose with a hint of funk and toasted cereal grain.Quite refreshing on the palate with lemon really standing out along with mild yeasty phenols,a hint of white pepper and some toasted cereal grains in the finish.A great "table" beer to be had.

Pours a slightly hazy straw with a white and bubbly head, seems to have plenty of carbonation.
Aroma is slightly fruity with a touch of pepper.
Quite tasty with an appropriate level of yeasty funk, some grassiness, a little pepper bite and a slightly bitter and drying finish that seems to last forever.
Mouthfeel is medium and bubbly yet dry.
Overall, quite nice. I'd like another, please.

Poured from bottle into teku. Pours hazy and pale yellow in color with minimal bubbly head and minimal lacing. Aroma is mostly saison yeast with a citrusy lemon-lime overtone. Mouth feel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Palate is lemon, lime, and peppercorn…sour throughout and finishes dry. A nice saison…easy drinker.

L: Pours hazy straw with a quickly dissipating off-white foam collar.

S: Aromas of lemon, citrus, fruit, light grains and a hint of over ripe fruit rise form the glass.

T: Lemony tart, stone fruit with some light biscuit seasoned with a mildly assertive bitterness on the finish. Fruit flavors are medium to medium high, tartness is medium and malt flavors are medium to medium low. Hop bitterness is medium. Flavors are layered and well balanced.

F: Light and highly effervescent with a mild tingle.

O: Another stellar farmhouse ale from Prairie Artisan Ales.
