Poured into a tulip it has a inch thick darker beige head with a black body. Smell is of chocolate, bourbon, coffee, vanilla, slight slight coconut, with a bit of the faint oatmeal stout smell but not as metallic or over the top. Taste is fresh roasted coffee beans, chocolate, vanilla, oak, a bit of oats, fudge-y, a nice somewhat overly dry bourbon and alcohol flavor as well. A very fufilling rich mouth feel, that has a bit too much alcohol, and a body to match. Not my favorite of the prairie stouts but a fantastic stout none the less.

It was one of the last couple I found at a Spec's. Dark and easy to drink. Pretty good with dark chocolate. Silky feel with good mix of coffee and chocolatenotes in the flavor and aroma of this beer. Can get good sense of the caramel and whiskey as well. Similar to St. Arnold's whiskey barrel stout.

Pours black as an Alaskan night with a decent head for a beer this big. While bourbon dominates the nose, vanilla and Carmel sweetness are apparent. Taste adds roast coffee and toffee notes to flavors picked up by the nose. Mouthfeel is slick with a bit of lingering booze. Man I need a campfire right now.
