330 ml bottle, batch #198, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy golden colour, moderate off-white head with a yellowish hue from the saffron. Aroma of lactic acid, sour fruits and saffron, also herbal and spicy hops. Sour flavour, plenty of lactic acid, also notes of sour fruits, saffron in the finish, not much bitterness.

A Berliner Wiesse fermented with saffron... this could be interesting...
The beer pours hazy and, WOW, that color! Deep yellow-orange with a one finger head that disappears fast with no lacing on the glass
Nose: Saffron, citrus, tart smell, dough, hay and sweet orange.
Taste: Sour, tart, saffron, orange, vanilla and honey.
Mouth: Medium carbonation. Medium body. Smooth. Sweet and tart.
Saffron tends to divide people - Either you love or hate it!
I like saffron and and I like this beer!

The colour is deep. Depp saffron-yellow with a tint of beige. The liquid is cloudy. The finger thick head is compact and yellow; it sinks down to a thin lid leaving no lacing.
The smell is sour-tart with lime and a touch of chemicals. District heavy notes of saffron and saffron buns.
The taste is tart-sweet with lime juice and some earth. Hints of fresh orange juice. Growing very clean notes of saffron and a touch of vanilla. Medium body. The aftertaste is less tart with saffron and some sweet cookies. The saffron-finish goes on for hours.
The carbonation is medium to light, the fresh small bubbles are short-lived. The liquid is smooth and a bit harsh.
Saffron is a tricky spice, it tends to take over everything and just become too much. But this one is highly balanced with a pleasant tartness. Well done!
