My bottle was bottled on 2016 and the best by date is 2021. So it was a bit old. Nice look: golden color with a 3F head. Funky aroma:not too pronounced-the Brett in this beer is quite weird. either it has dissipated overtime or it’s a different brewing process than American brewers -funky, but different. Overall a decent beer, not the best with Brettamyoces.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.0%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Nice funky aroma of farmhouse, horse stable, fermenting apples. The flavour is less sour than I expected, with a more pronounced hoppy bitterness than in any other "farmhouse" ale I’ve tasted. dry, moderately funky and yeasty / peppery, but first and foremost bitter - too bitter for the style, I think. Not a bad beer though.

Poured from 330mL bottle into a tulip. Label says bottled January 2016, best before January 2021.
Appearance: rich golden hue with a clear body and a strong effervescence. Head poured a thick finger of frothy white foam; I think this is quite an attractive beer.
Smell: a bit of bright funk from the Brett accompanies some grassy hops to evoke a very springtime feel. I really dig it.
Taste: a little bit of farmhouse funk, a little bit of funk and dash of sour from the Brett, and a moderately complex malt backbone. Grassy, green hops add a really good element to this beer. I really like it.
Mouthfeel: light body with an explosive carbonation and big, though evanescent, creaminess. Wonderful.
Overall: this beer checks a lot of boxes for me; it's bright, refreshing, effervescent and optimistic. I really like it.

11.2 ounce bottle, bottled JAN 2016, best before 2021-01-13. This bottle says 5.0% ABV. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a hazy dark gold color with a couple inch frothy off-white head that stayed around for a long time. Good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like oak, funk, apricot, wheat/grainy malt, lime and straw. The brew tastes like grainy/bready malt, funk, earthiness, straw, lime, peppery spice and some apricots. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easty to drink with a good amount of soft carbonation. I thought this was good, now I'll have to try more of the Brekeriet brews the next time I get the chance. $5.79 a bottle.

these guys are fast becoming one of my favorite breweries anywhere, these wild beers they are crafting are so unique and good, and this one is grossly underrated here. the bottle i had was a couple of years old, so perhaps its evolved, funked up, and dried out a lot since it was packaged, but right now its brilliant beer, really as good as it gets. its crystal clear at first, a little haze comes in towards the bottom of the bottle, the head is white and lacy and fizzy and active and the beer is bubbly enough to replenish it each time i take a sip off of it. it smells amazing, really mature bretty funk, new oak and wet straw, musty basement and dried flowers, tea and elderflower, some hops too in here. the flavor is also awesome, so funky and bretty and mature, very little acidity but maybe a little bacterial thing happening here too, but this is all about the brett. its horsey and farmy and rustic and maybe a brett drie type, so dried out now, effervescently carbonated, clean for what it is, enormously drinkable and interesting and refined. oddly hoppy for its age, grassy and limey and clean, mildly bitter, so interesting with the brett. i could have had ten of these...

A: Poured into a tulip to a light orange topped by a dense and rocky three finger white head which fades slowly leaving decent lacing
S: Smells of orchard fruits, a little peppery spice and a hint of funk.
T: Taste is funky and a little yeasty up front with some orchard fruits, more funk and some peppery spicy yeast notes. Swallow is more funk leaning toward barnyard, a little more orchard fruit and some peppery yeast.
M: This beer is fairly light in body and flirts with being watery. Carbonation is effervescent and slightly prickly. The beer has a slightly dry finish.
O: Overall this one is pretty decent. Not bad but not great. I would have liked to see a little more from it but what's there is pretty solid. Decent complexity but could have been better.

Pour is hazy golden amber with a moderately bubbly white head. The nose is nice, strong lemon presence with a moderate yeast undertone and light balance of peppery spice. Lightly candied sugar and citrus hop presence behind. Taste follows the nose, spicy Saison yeast, lemon, candied fruit, balances hop bitterness in back. Semi dry, well carbonated, crisp on the palate. Good stuff.
