Roasty, Toasty, Sweet, Prune
Dark brown, near opaque with a gorgeous coffee colored head and stick. Roasty, toasty malts in the nose with smoky suggestions. Firm body, a bit viscous, and very smooth. Malty sweetness and prune-like fruitiness. More roasty and toasty with molasses, cocoa, pumpernickel bread, some nuttiness, and a faint smokiness. Bone-dry finish. Not too shabby.

360 degree top can (pretty cool) poured into a snifter. Pours a beautiful dark brown, barely opaque, with a finger of nice tan head.
Smells great! Chocolate, toffee, leather, and dark fruits. Really inviting nose on this beer, drooling...
Tastes of chocolate, smoke, raisins. Very subtle hop notes, just enough to give it some bite. Surprisingly powerful flavors for a sessionable porter.
Mouthfeel a bit thin, but expected of a low gravity beer. Carbonated properly and has enough heft to be "robust"
Overall a wonderful surprise of a beer. I put this in a mixed sixer when I was in Dallas for work, on a suggestion from a friend. Will buy more when I'm back. Cheers!
