A pleasant beer! Poured a clear dark brown into a tulip glass. Nice beige head and good lacing. Sweet toffee smell and taste. Warm spices, backed apples. Good with cheese and crackers.

A: Dark ruby-brown with a head that fades quickly.
S: Sweet malt, candyish, highly fruity.
T: Lightly chocolaty, sweet, somewhat estery beer.
M: Good mouthfeel, as it's not as heavy as a stout or porter, certainly not for a 7.8% beer.
O: Nothing stands out about this at all, really.

Very nice dark beer. Slightly sweet with a slightly bitter finish.
