Lots of malt backbone to back-up the load of tropical-noted hops

Seriously one of my favorite IPAs. Nice balance of citrus, resin and malt. Very refreshing while still being a full-flavored IPA.

Pours a slightly hazy amber orange with minimal head or lacing. Immediate smell is of juicy fruit hops, slightly sweet malt and just a tiny bit of pine. Taste is wonderfully smooth hops with grapefruit and pine characteristics. A bit of floral notes as well. Biscuity malts throughout. Just the right amount of bitterness at the end that's typical of the style.

My first from Four Corners and one of my favorite Texas IPAs. The cans feature a pop top so you can enjoy all the hop aromas while you sip which is a cool little feature I hadn't seen much before. I'll be buying plenty of this in the future.

This is a really unique beer - I'm glad it's from my hometown of Dallas. Very fruity smell - lots of apple juice, pineapple juice, and faint hints of caramel malt. You'd think the beer would be very sweet based on the smell, but the taste is very strong and malty - almost a toasted, oaky taste. The smell and taste are completely different - maybe as different as I've ever had. The aftertaste is very malty as well - almost no bitterness.

The can top is weird for the sake of being weird but this was a very solid beer. Can't wait to have it again.

The beer pours a dark golden body.
The smell is absolutely amazing. It's of fresh strong hops with a hint of malt sweetness.
The taste is great, with a nice bitter hop flavor and a bit of booziness on the finish.
The feel is good, with a bit of tingle on the back of the tongue.
This is such a great beer FRESH, if you are not drinking this beer fresh, you are doing it wrong.
