Tasted in a 12 ounce snifter from draft at Light the Lamp on March 4, 2017. A well made and nicely balanced IPA. It has a very nice hop profile, light malt and only slightly bitter. Recommended.

Served in a tumbler.

Yeah, let's pump more Citra into the Illinois beer scene... Anyway, this stuff pours a lightly-hazy golden-brass topped by a finger of white foam. The nose comprises grapefruit zest, light lemon zest, mild mango, light apricot, light honey, and light pine sap. The taste brings in more of the same, with a slightly stronger contingent of pine to balance out the fruitiness. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a pretty darn tasty Citra IPA. 'Nuff said.

(I will also add that I've also had a batch hopped with Sorachi and Galaxy, which added that characteristic funky-lemon flavor Sorachi is known for, while maintaining a good deal of the fruitiness of the Galaxy.)
