Draft poured with a finger of long lasting off white head and a hazy orange body. Laces wonderfully.

Was weary of a Summit based IPA but it doesn't have a big off putting onion thing going on. Just a little bit with some hefty citrus flavors of orange and grapefruit, pine, mint and herbal as well.

More bitter than I was expecting based on its 63 IBUs but it dies down quickly. Medium bodied and dry.

Great IPA here that doesn't taste like every other damn IPA flooding the market.

on-tap poured into tulip at Carney's Pub in Bryan (12/4/14)

L: orange, pale orange, no amber in it; looks murky at first but it's no 100% opaque, closer to 50/50; minimal stick, no lacing, no collar

S: citrusy, orange and grass; onion

T: bitter hops -- piney and citrus, very little sweet to this, it's all hops; green, grass; grapefruit side

F: a little soft but could be because of pour; good weight

O: solid IPA, warms from the alcohol but you don't taste it; a go-to for me being on the citrus/grapefruit side of things

Growler from Premium Draught in Houston.

A: Pours a beautiful hazed copper/orange color. A massive, rocky white head forms and rises to over two fingers. Sheets of sticky lace is left behind.
S: That earthy, slightly onion like bitterness is up front. Though does not overwhelm. Orange and grapefruit with a pine like resin. Again, nothing is over barring, really well balanced.
T: Again, that earthy, green, onion like flavor up front at first. That quickly fades to juicy citrus fruits. Orange, grapefruit, lemon. A bit of sweetness in the background, but finishes on a great dry note.
M/D: Soft carbonation, but still crisp. A medium body that is perfectly smooth and beautifully dry. Superbly drinkable. Downed in big gulps. I am going to need another growler.

The signature onion like character for Summit is up front, but is quickly balanced with the citrus like fruits. I use to have a big aversion to Summit, but this is really nice. Maybe better than Yellow Rose. Really well done.

Poured very hazy amber color with a thick foamy head. Excellent lacing and head retention. Citrus piney hoppy aroma. Malty, piney, citrus taste. Very good hoppy finish. Very fresh beer poured straight from the brewery. Excellent!
