Formerly Pioneer Yellow Rose until it was made year-round.

A SMaSH, Single Malt and Single Hop, IPA using a caboodle (technical term for a large amount of malt) of malt and a new hop released in 2012 called Mosaic (HBC 369). It is a daughter of Simcoe (YCR 14), one of our favorite hops. Whole cone Mosaic is used for bittering, flavoring, and aroma in the kettle; it is also massively dry hopped. The beer is named after a Texas Heroine.

Tasting notes: chalk-white head with a very clean malt backbone. The hops impart strong grapefruit, pineapple, and blueberry flavor and aroma. A strong beer that is extremely quaffable.

Pours a cloudy dark straw with lasting lace and cap of off white foam.

A medium strength aroma, full of lemon zest, mango, neutral sweet, hints of tart yeast, and even lighter hints of pine and herbal bitter.

All the flavors of the aroma are here, balanced perfectly, with additional notes of mango, pear, pineapple, floral, and other fruity notes that appear as the beer warms. Just delicious beer.

Low carb, medium viscosity, excellent finish, clean flavor profile, excellent frame for a delicious flavor profile.

Great beer, highly recommended, if you see this one grab it, you won't be disappointed!

Bought 19.2 oz. Can from HEB. Pored into shaker style pint glass. Love head retention and aroma. Flavorful with grapefruit and berries. Love the finish. Definitely will buy again!

Overall score would be closer to 4.95, only because I am reserving 5 for any future life changing IPAs that I come across, but if I don't I am more than cool with this one.

Though the APV comes in under seven, trust, me this packs a bunch, but does so in an invigorating and ascendent manner. I am a fan of IPA and Double IPAs, so if you are looking for a true Mosaic experience, then Lone Pint offers and elegant and exquisite Brew. Big Saint Arnold Fan, but they are not the only unicorn in the Gulf Coast area, trust me. And Gulf Coast brews, like all other regions, have their own craft approach. Check them out, you will not be disappointed.

This pours a very hazy, cloudy orange color with a nice head. Nose is pleasantly hoppy with herbal, tropical notes. Good bitterness up front with loads of hop flavor (grassy, a tad citrusy). Malt is restrained. Finish is dry. Not to heavy a body makes it fairly drinkable. Decent IPA, though it doesn't really stand out in the field of hundreds of others.

L-Pours a three and a half finger head ale. Decently hazy body that is lighter golden/straw color. Nice carbonation throughout. The head is long lasting and here to stay.
S-Wheaty, yeasty, bready, spicy, citrusy and tropical. Notes of sweet orange citrus and mango followed by sweet honey are noted. Blueberry is also there. A nice undertone of resinous pine is there as well. Herbal/earthy notes are there towards the back end.
T- Sweet bready malt up front with solid notes of melon, mango and papaya. Subtle, yet present, notes of blueberry pie are there as well. Orange citrus is there in a very subtle way as well. Slightly medicinal with a nice piney hop finish towards the end.
F-Pillowy soft mouthfeel. Nice complementary carbonation.
O-A pretty perfectly balanced smash IPA in my opinion. It showcased the complexity of mosaic hops in subtle, yet interesting way. Nice notes of citrus, mango, papaya and baked blueberry pie are showcased with some subtle stone fruit and herbal notes. Very, very well made. Cheers!

Yellow Rose is thee standard ipa of Central Texas. It is a safe go to.

This a very straightford beer that really showcases mosaic hops and nothing else.

Simple and effective.

Fruity, citrus on the nose and front with a thin pine on the back. Its a very refreshing and crispy beer that demands a second.

Pours bright yellow-gold with an immensely thick & foamy head. On the nose getting a lot of grapefruit & orange zest with some herbal notes. Taste follows suit with grapefruit, pineapple, & melon up front followed by supple malty notes with a "baked goods" sort of sweetness. Finished extremely smooth with notable but balanced bitterness. Really strong beer - might rate slightly lower than others as this one is always available to me; maybe lost it's luster a bit.

Probably my favorite IPA thus far.
The nose is fresh cut pine and a strong grapefruit peel..
The palate is more of the same.

From VA, Attended Jazzfest in NOLA 2025. Ran into Rouses Market for beer and snacks- beer shelf pretty empty except for this Lone Pint beer I’d never seen. Checked BA - whoa, world class, destiny calls, grabbed 2 sixes. What a delicious beer, maybe the most flavorful I’ve ever had- sips like a great cocktail. I’m back home in VA with one left, and no real way to get more. Will be pining for more after enjoying the last.

Hazy sunny golden pour, 2 fingers of white foam on the top. Nose shows resin and citrus blast, even through that thick head.

Taste is sweet fleshy mango, an authoritative stamp of resin, orange marmalade, lightly carmelized malt, puckering meyer lemon pith. Creamy, medium mouthfeel. Finish is guided by dank resin. Wonderful beer.
