This brew goes down smooth. Not a strong beer flavor at all. I read somewhere the average beer percentage is 6.75 and I'm not sure if it's true but I certainly feel it, albeit I've only taken a few sips but I haven't eaten in a couple hours. Adding it to my list as one of the smoothest ale's I've come across!

Poured a golden color with a white head of foam. It smelled piney with citrus notes. It tasted of pine and orange with a sweet caramel backbone. Great balance. It was crisp and very smooth.

On tap at the brewpub.

A- Standard orange with a white head. Bubbly. Looks stick and yummy.

S- Smells herbal and malty. Like an English IPA. Excited to try.

T- Taste like it smells. Herbal, subtle citrus, and sturdy biscuity malt flavor. Eh.

M- Medium bodied with plenty of little bubbles.

O- This isn't a bad beer, i just prefer more resinous, citrusy IPA's. This is more in line with the English rendition, which is fine. Visiting Colorado University dads will love it.

Served on-draught at the brewpub into a pilsner glass in December 2012. Reviewed from notes.

A: Pours a one finger head of beige colour, decent cream and thickness, and above average retention. Body colour is a dull dark copper. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show.

Sm: Toasted malt, amber malt, floral hops, and some hints of citrus. An average strength aroma.

T: Crisp floral hops and pale malts. Nectary and lush, but way too simple. Not as muted as West Flanders' other beers. Fairly balanced. Lacks complexity and subtlety. Meh. Underwhelming. Very mundane.

Mf: Smooth and wet. Decently carbonated. Thickness is okay. Meh.

Dr: Drinkable but mediocre. I wouldn't get this again. A very bland IPA.
