Wow, I usually like Reds and maltier beers in general, but this thing was sickeningly sweet. I got it on tap from the restaurant and could barely finish it. Felt like drinking a bottle of maple syrup. Not my style I suppose!

Tasted on tap at the Albuquerque location. Medium copper color, but I wouldn't call it "red". Good tan head that is creamy and persistent. Malty, caramel hops aroma with earthy hops secondary. Sweet malty flavors with low caramel; no real hops character. Low fruitiness from the yeast. Medium body with creamy, moderate carbonation. Overall a very competent but not exciting Irish Red.

The best beer I have ever tried. Being a fan of wheat ales, this one turned me towards reds, and it doesn't look like short term.

Sampled as part of a flight of 4 while on vacation. Staying across the street from BJ's Brew House in Westminster, Colorado on 7/18/15. Stopped in and had dinner and brews. :) ABV 7.3%, IBU 25

Boozy red that hits the malts right and looks good. A bit too boozy though to be balanced or have a good mouth feel. One of the better on tap options from BJ's.
