Great little place with decent selection and good rotating taps. The staff is very nice and incredibly helpful. They also have a decent bottle selection.

This is my go-to spot for growler fills in Houston. A very good selections beers on tap and tons of bottles for you to choose from. The owner and workers are very knowledgeable and friendly. Don't be afraid to ask what they are going to be drinking that night because they won't let you down. I highly recommend this gem in the Heights for your next fill.

Great new place in the Houston Heights area...

I finally got to check this place out on NYE. They had ten beers on tap... I went with a growler of Santa Fe Java Stout.. but it was hard to pass up the 512 Pecan Porter or the Shmatlz Hebrew Hop Manna... they also had several other beers available.

Service was great. They explained how the growler exchange program worked and they offer tastes of what they have on tap. They just can't sell pints to consume on the premise. YOu have to take your bottle or growler to go.

They do have a couple of coolers with many other beers available via bottle. Also, be sure to ask if they have any special bottles in the back. When I was there they let me know that they had some Jester King Funk Metal bottles in back for sale. I already had one, but appreciated the opportunity to pick up another.

I wish I lived closer to this place. It's about a 45 minute drive for me, but I'll be checking to see what they have (they show the draft menu right on the front of their webpage now) and will stop by when visiting friends in the Heights area to exchange for a new brew.

loved the place! I went there during the middle of the day, so it wasn't busy at all. A small building, but plenty of selection. You can choose between 32 ounce or 64 ounce growlers. He had about ten or twelve taps. It's a good mix of styles in the bottles as well as on draft. He had a belgian dark ale, a belgian blonde, a double IPA, two other IPAs, a porter, as well as some others. He does focus mainly on Texas breweries. Got a growler of pecan porter and two bottles. Johnny, the owner was extremely nice, knowledgable and helpful. I am definitely going to recommend this to friends!

A great brand new beer store that just opened up. The store is right next to Antidote, and is tiny. They do growlers to go, which is awesome. Beer geeks come and get your 512 Pecan Porter and anything Live Oak they happen to carry. 10 taps with a focus on Houston and Texas breweries. Karback, Saint Arnold, 512, Live Oak, the brand new Cedar Creek was just kicked when I visited. Also Hennipin and Anchor OSA on.

They also carry about 200 bottles in the coolers. Again, there is a focus on Texas breweries. Some Jester King in bottles being the most notable that is not available on tap as far as Texas breweries. Also a good mix of English, German, and a few Belgians. Plenty of good stuff to choose from.

The deal with the growlers: Basically put a $6 deposit for the actual glass, then fill the growler with the prices listed on the chalk board. Bring back the growler and they will give you a new, clean one. Or bring another breweries/bars growler and they will fill that for you. There is also a discount when buying 6 or more bottles from the cooler.

The owner is one of the nicest guys around. He was the old manager at the Little Woodrows in Rice Village. He knows his stuff, and the quality and attention to detail is incredible. Go now.
