from a can to a spencer trappist glass (basically a wine glass)
look; hazy pale orange, 1 1/4" head with moderate retention and beautiful curtainous lacing, thick covering never leaves after head finally dissipates.
smell; balance is the word, there's nothing new here but a perfect fruity juicy citrusy hop nose with a little malt biscuit or sweet roll underneath, pink grapefruit passion fruit orange glazed donut big delicious nose
taste; big citrus fruity, some biscuity malt, grapefruit and sugar finish, again well balanced
feel; closer to medium than light body, smooth, light carbonation tickle but not intrusive, nice balance
overall; this rivals hill farmstead stuff, it loses but it rivals it, close in every way and way more accesible

From the 650 ml. bottle dated 05/27/14. Sampled on June 27, 2014 so this beer is exactly one month old.

The pour is pale yellow to near golden with a slight haze and a tremendous, puffy white head that sticks around until the last drop.

A pleasant toasted and roasted malt and bready aroma with a vague grassy hop note. It seems to be balanced.

The body is well into the medium range and maybe a bit better while being smooth.

Toasted and roasted malts are the first flavors I pick up. It begins rather low hopped but with each ensuing sip the hoppy bitterness seems to expand and erupt so that in lingers on the palate after the final sip. Nicely done.

Had on draft while in Portsmouth last weekend. It poured a golden yellow with a thin white head. Not a lot of hops come to the nose but there are hints of malt. It's a smooth drinking beer not real big on flavors but a nice summertime beer. Clean crisp and refreshing.

Bottle at the Southern New Hampshire Brewers Fest 7/26/2013
Pours a hazy medium gold color with a decent sized white head that persists forever. Light citrus with a spicy wheat coriander and honey like malt going on. Flavor is similar to the aroma. Medium body with a light level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Not my favorite beer from them, I thought it was kind of spicy for my tastes.

Aroma is grassy, lightly floral, with biscuity malt notes.

Flavor is resiny, lightly citrusy upfront, with moderate bitterness hitting mid palate, finishing malty and dry.
