Collaboration with Evil Twin Brewing
Our first-ever collaboration, brewed with Jeppe from Evil Twin. Two Evil twist on gose with ingredients sourced from Iceland including Icelandic moss, rye, herbs, sea kelp, skyr and birch smoked sea salt.
The result of this adventure is Two Evil Geyser Gose: A classic sour/tart beer with a hint of smoke, light lemon color, dry finish and thirst quenching appeal.

found this to be really refreshing and enjoyable. plenty of salinity invoking the ocean, mellow amount of smoky salt, herbaceous, leafy green quality. very tasty!

16 ounce can - pours out a bubbly slightly hazy, though not cloudy, golden yellow with bubbly finger of short lived white head.
Aroma strikes with a lemony brininess, earthy and slightly herbal, lime - margarita like.
Taste of lemon-lime but with a salty sweet note, earthy, leafy, that finishes with a crisp tartness - again a little margarita like but spiked with seaweed.
Medium mouthfeel with deliciously prickly carbonation carrying the lemon-lime salty sweetness to a refreshingly sharp tart (but not sour) end.

Batch #001 , 16:59
Translucent deep gold, with moderate white head.
"Fresh ocean breeze" scent, of a typical gose, plus a sour lemony smell , and a very slight spicy/herbal aroma.
Taste is sour lemon/lime , mostly, with some slight celery seed+sage+horehound, and light bitterness.
Feel is light, smooth, and slightly oily. Moderate fine, sharp carbonation.
Overall, easy-drinking , and thoroughly enjoyable. Cold, snowy, & windy now, but I've had this in hot weather, and it really shines then. Highly recommend it!

Excellent gose. Pours nice, hazy, golden yellow. The lime, salt sour character is great. It's not an overwhelming sour, like some, but still very tart but still very drinkable. This is a definitely a great sour!

Nice straw color poured with very decent initial head from a 16 ounce can. A nose reminiscent of hay bales and moist forest floor plant matter. That might not sound like a pleasant descriptor but it actually is quite nice. Really excellent gose style here with some unique ingredients and notes: moss, celery, seaweed, salt and grass. Finishes beautifully with an aftertaste that simply mirrors all the aroma and tasting notes

Canned 12/7/15; drank 6/12/16 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy pale yellow appearance; champagne bubbles throughout.
A rough pour yielded a huge, noisy white head; minimal lace.
Lime, sea salt & faint mint notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Lemon & sea salt flavors up front; tart lime notes on the finish. Sea salt settled on my lips over the course of the quaff.
A pleasantly tart, fruity, salty gose; perhaps a bit too salty but overall very enjoyable.

Sea salt is extremely prominent on this guy. You get a little bit of that umami from the seaweed in between the tart acidity of this beer. Overall a pretty well structured gose and a beer I will generally pick up when I see.

Wonderful golden clear color. Smell is off tart sugar candy and sour gummies. Taste is incredible. Makes you pucker just at a sip. Carbonation flows throughout as the salt and sourness floods your palate. Amazing sour. I love it
