Very Good
Lil' JuicyLil' Juicy
Notes: An unfiltered, double dry-hopped New England IPA that uses generous amounts of galaxy, citra and azacca hops. The result is a “crushable” IPA with notes of tropical juicy fruits, orange, lemon-lime and florals.

16 ounce can poured into a Duvel tulip glass.

L---Hazy, bright golden color. Fluffy white head that had very good retention and left good lacing.

S---Strong citrus, Orange/lemon.

T---Lemon with some vague tropical notes showing up. Minimal Hop bite.

F---Light bodied. Well carbonated.

O---I suppose for a session NEIPA it's okay. As a straight NEIPA, it falls short of the class's standards.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Captain Lawrence, muffin top pint glass; canned 04/17/20.
A: Pours a very hazy, lemon yellow color with ochre caste, a one to two finger, short lived, white head, rim retention, and broad bands of short lived lacing.
S: Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, caramel, and pineapple.
T: More semidry than semisweet. Flavors a melange of the nose, but with an emphasis on the fruit, especially lemon. Mild bitterness provides balance.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate effervescence. Easy drinking and crushable.
O: Two Roads seems to have a knack for these "session" IPAs; this is certainly one of the best I have had. Not too dry, solid flavor, light bodied without being too thin, and just enough bitterness to hold it all together. Nice. Kudos. Think I'll have another.

Look, i absolutely adore Two Roads Two Juicy, it has always, and will always, be one of my favorites. This is by no means a beer to skip over, unless you have a strong nose. I'm going to be completely honest here, its a good tasting beer, but it smells like a hobo took a dump on my patio and lit the shit afire. I first opened a can a few weeks back and my 16 year old sister accused me of shitting myself. Look honestly, its worth the buy just because you dont believe me but this beer smells like rotting shit. besides the smell though delicious beer gives me Two Juicy vibes without me being belligerent and raiding my fucking fridge at 2 am. Overall 6.3/10.

A: cloudy; pale gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded quickly to a wispy cap; OK lacing;

S: a mash up of lemon, lime, and orange;

T: not a lot of flavor; what's there follows the nose; very mild bitterness at the end;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: better balanced than most SIPAs;

Pours hazy, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is lemon and lime. Light bodied, medium carbonation, slightly bitter. Wanted to like this one more, but it pales in comparison to Two Juicy. Not as much depth in flavor. Not bad but didn't meet expectations.

Earlier in the day, I revisited their Roadsmary's Baby, this time in a Bottle (GASP!), vice a CAN. I thoroughly enjoyed it & so I wanted to CANtinue with them for a while longer, this time to further The CANQuest (tm).

From the CAN: "Keep It Juicy -- Enjoy Immediately!"; "Double Dry Hopped New England IPA"; "A natural, harmless sediment may appear"; "Here's to taking the road less traveled, in life and in beer!"

I Crack!ed open the vent & while I was hoping for clarity, once I beCAN the C-Line Glug, it became obvious that no amount of gentility was going to pay off as hoped. That being the case, I ramped up to a heavy-handed Glug that resulted in the formation of two-plus fingers of foamy, soapy, rocky, bone-white head with modest retention. Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose was redolent with grapefruit. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was citrusy, but more orange and lemon than the nose had led me to expect, along with a tropical fruit sweetness. I was less than enthralled. Finish was semi-dry & refreshing, but it left me thinking that I had somehow drank a pop & not a beer. Hmm. YMMV.

Two Roads Brewing Co. "Lil' Juicy"
16 fl. oz can, "PKG 05APR19" 07:23"
$4.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ

Notes via stream of consciousness: Ahhh, here we go again, another old beer from Total Wine & More. I really need to check my dates more carefully. It's poured a very cloudy straw gold colored body beneath a tall head of thin white foam. The aroma is quite tropical with pineapple, orange, mango and a little bit of pine. The taste incorporates some additional passion fruit and guava, and the malt is quite basic with just some sweetish breadiness. A firm bitterness centers it and with the help of the little bit of acidity that's there it finishes fairly dry with citrusy and tropical fruitiness lingering. Refreshing! In the mouth it's medium to medium-light in body but it has a little bit more feel because of the extra proteins that leave it so cloudy. I'm guessing that they may have used some oats but I don't know. The carbonation is standard to somewhat moderate, and fine-bubbled. It's gently zesty and then smoother. Conclusion? It's a very refreshing and juicy NEIPA that's a little bit different because of assorted tropical flavors as opposed to the usual mainly orange based versions.

The first beer I get to try from Two Roads Brewing. I am getting behind NEIPA they are fastly becoming a favorite of mine. The can art is bold and bright, making a loud statement. This beer is the younger one to Two Juicy. The head of the beer is creamy and airy. The head of the beer has fair retention. The beer is a pale straw color with golden hues. The clarity of the beer is hazy. This beer is a typical NEIPA. I am sad to see the poor head retention. If this is beer is crafted well, it is a work of art.

The aromas in the beer are pineapple, orange, mangos, melons, a touch of herbal, cut grass, lightly toasted malts, bready, and a hint of lemons.

The flavors of the beer are heavy pineapple, oranges, passions fruit, melons, grass, lightly toasted malts, bready, a subtle hint of lemon, wheat, and herbal.

The mouthfeel of the beer is watery and astringent.

The body of the beer is a medium, high carbonation, and a medium finish.

I am disappointed in this in this beer. The strong malty back like a crooked disintegrated back that needs medical attention. The nose on this beer is mouthwatering. Sadly, the tasted does not match it.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a very cloudy yellow color with a 1 inch head, Smell is of tropical fruits. Taste is pineapple, some oranges, surprisingly little bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall it's a decent beer, but kind of lacking any oomph.

This offering came from the tap, and was actually my significant other's that I stole from. This beer has a pleasant orange/citrus aroma and coloring. Amazingly, the taste matched the visual and aromatic characteristics. This was close to drinking orange juice, and I tasted little to no alcohol.

I'll be looking this one on the shelf!

I am a fan of Two Juicy and happy to try a fresh sessionable NEIPA. Canned in February and drinking the 4 pack in March. Very light yellow hazy beer. I find it to be very refreshing and is an easy session beer. Dry but not bitter. I taste grapefruit and get a nice dry mouthfeel. I am a fan - hope for some more fresh cans this summer. Would be great on a hot day.

A: The beer is very hazy pale light yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that quickly settled down, but left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and some lacing running down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lychee are present in the nose along with hints of gooseberries.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of lychee along with notes of gooseberries and hints of limes. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and quite juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and has a lot of fruity aromas and flavors. I liked how it exhibited lychee instead of citrus that you normally see in these types of IPAs.

This is an awesome IPA for 8% ABV, nevermind 5.2%! Incrediblebly juicy, citrusy, and refreshing bitter bite at the end makes this a top notch IPA to seek out. The fact it is a sessionable IPA only adds to its desirability. Seek this beer out!

Opaque light yellow, almost straw. Very pale and completely opaque. Topped by a small white head. Good retention and some streaky lacing.
The aroma is almost nonexistent. A bit of pineapple and orange, but there's almost nothing there. Even a bit of vomit on the back end. Yikes.
Fuck me. Is this a bad can? A touch of peach and pineapple, and then vinegary sourness, vomit, chalk, and dust. This must be bad. I don't know what's going on here, but this fails.
Slightly creamy mouthfeel, lightly carbonated.
Either this pack is bad, or this beer is bad. Either way, this beer is awful and not recommended.

16oz can. Pours a turbid milky yellow color with an inch of head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is citrus and tropical fruits. Orange, tangerine, mango, pineapple and pink grapefruit. The taste is a bit more subdued than the aroma. Orange juice, pineapple, lemon and some bread. Citrus finish. Medium body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Good enough to buy once in a while but nothing special.
