A big, hoppy IPA with plenty of bite! Our assertive, hop-centric Double IPA has a lean malt backdrop and is brewed with four American hop varieties – Summit, Palisade, Cascade and Magnum. Piney, citrus, floral, not-for-the-timid!

What’s not to love? Bitter, pithy west coaster. P.s. buy the bottles!

Not bad but nothing special especially for a DIPA. Just not as smooth as other doubles. Wouldn’t put it in my good to beer catalog.

Pours a copper/honey gold with a decent amount of white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is mild, pine and citrus. Flavor follows the nose, sweet citrus front with a dank hoppy finish. Feel is medium bodied, decently carbonated. Overall, a nice enough DIPA.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden orange color with a small head of white foam. The head fades very rapidly, leaving a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a caramel malt and bready aroma mixed with bit of harvest fruit and grain. Along with these smells comes a decent showing of a pine and herbal smell as well as a touch of grapefruit hop.
Taste – The taste begins with a malty bready and slightly grainy flavor that is paired with a decent showing of earthy hops. At the same time there is a little bit of caramel, pear, and apple, with the three all lessening as the taste moves forward on the tongue. While the sweet dwindles the hops increase with more earthy flavors being joined by some pine and a touch of floral hop. Toward the end the pine surges, leaving one with a malty and somewhat more resinously hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick and chewy with a moderate carbonation level. For the malty and more resinous flavors the feel is good and makes for a nice slow sipper.
Overall – A rather nice, none citrus laden, double with great drinkability and an overall nice hop blend.

This beer has been my favorite since I moved from Wisconsin to Connecticut three years ago. It's seriously hoppy, strong in alcohol, and just is awesome. It has notes of coffee and pine and a deep amber color. I suggest you try it!

12 oz bottle into a tumbler.
It’s amber color brings a nice head that receded after a drink.
Aroma is big pine resin, citrus follows.
Taste brings everything a Hop Head is looking for; Hop Hop Hop, grapefruit, great bitter note, crisp finish.
Overall.,. Nice IPA!

Limited head quickly recedes... Color is the darker side of medium gold with a faint chill haze... Subtle malt forward nose with limited hop zing... The hop profile is dialed up several notches on the palate, but the rich malt base still is prominent... Feel is medium and dense with prickly carbonation... Decent enough brew with some rather enjoyable elements...
