Fresh bottle, about 2 weeks old. Sweet malt, pine resin and some fruitiness. Grapefruit pith. Virtually no balance. Think a slightly maltier, heavier and drier Two Hearted.

I didn't get much of a s
Smell except for some pine. It was pretty bitter almost seemed too bitter because that's all I got out of it. Not sure if I would get this on again. Maybe I was expecting something different

Sitting out on the back deck in near 60°F weather.... enjoying a couple of bottles from a six-pack I bought last week ($11.99).

Poured into a small tulip, it is a deep golden color with a touch of haze. Carbo is scattered and slow, and the head is a creamy dollop of stark white foam. Lacing is decent, all in all. Aroma has a hint of sweetness but is mostly bitter hoppyness. Body is a solid medium, with a fairly smooth feel.

Flavor is light on the malt and any semblance of sweetness, imo. It is quite bitter from the get-go. There's some piney action, grapefruit, lemon peel, and lots of pithy, rindy notes. Finish is on the dry side. The hopping is solid and gives it potential but the lack of balance doesn't quite do it for me. Still rather tasty, though. Prosit!

Pours golden orange, one finger of head dissipates soon. Smell hoppy,as is the taste. Bitter but not too much, at least for my taste. Otherwise not very complex. Overall quite enjoyable.
