Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.00%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
The Two Roads version of this traditional beer style takes a road less traveled. It’s unfiltered and uses wheat as the dominant malt backbone. The result is a slightly cloudy, pale IPA with a softer mouthfeel that accentuates the citrusy Pacific Northwest hop character.

12 oz can. Pours hazy yellow gold with a medium creamy white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet bready malt with floral lemon hops.

The flavor is sweet honey malt with lemony fruity hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a decent IPA.

A mostly clear light orange with a thin, white head, this looks solid. The nose is a mix of dough, fruit and honey, a touch of chalk and a little bit of a grainy, grist-like wheat note. The palate opens with a blend of doughy sweetness, a mellow peach and citrus bitterness and fruitiness, and a touch of grainy astringency. Drying on the finish with a lingering citrus peel note, this beer is medium-light in body and moderately carbonated. Decent.

16 oz IPA glass.
Pours light, with a lightly clouded view. Smells very good. Pine, lemon (ish), slight hop. Tasted of piney hops, lemon leads the citrus pack, with a mild IPA kick. Light bitterness, but nothing overpowering. MF was smooth, and crisp.

This is a mild IPA with the flavors all complimenting each other. Very little bitterness. nice balance throughout. It's a really nice tasting low ABV IPA.

A hazy yellow color with minimal white head and no lacing.
Faint aroma of grassy hops and citrus.
Some lemon, some wheat in the taste.
Light-bodied.
Not one I'd buy again.
