We visited Saturday early afternoon, The Baird Machine building is an old gem re purposed into this large production brewery. The outside has some food trucks and a side yard with a small stage and area for games.
The vibe inside was taproom and viewing area, nicely appointed, noise level is high with some tanks venting sporadically to add ambiance. The quality is very good, solid line up of draft offerings including seasonal . I like the history photos and ephemera.
Service is prompt and polite, lots of staff all wired together via radio, an empty glass on a surface lasts seconds very quick to clean up, which I appreciate.
Pricing was very good and the value I felt was quite good.

My first visit was a great experience. Wasn't sure what to expect but I am a fan of their double IPA Road to Ruins so I had to try it out.
It was crowded but there was plenty of parking. This was on a Saturday so before entering the converted factory there was a guy who checked your id and you get a stamp to enter. The fun happens upstairs. I did not check to see if they had an elevator for anyone in wheelchairs or physical limitations but that thought crossed my mind. If you visit call ahead. The bar and the store is on the second level. It appears that they do rotate their taps so many of the beers I'm familiar with were not on tap. They did have a great selection and some newer ones I had never tried.
Weekends are their most busiest so the bar area was full. Luckily we arrived when two others were leaving. No food was served but they did have snacks for sale. We had chips. There was a food truck at the time and they rotate that extra service. We decided to do a flight. You get five 4 ounce glasses from their tap. After this we decided to take the tour and tasting for $5 which you purchase at their store. The tour was great. I highly recommend doing that first before heading to the bar. You sample five of their beers. Our guide gave us extra samplings from a plastic two or maybe three ounce size cup so you walk away feeling great.
The brewery was very clean although very warm where the beer making process takes place. Once again call before heading over. The tour takes place from the second level down the stairs to the bottom floor. I did not check if they can accommodate people who cannot go up and down stairs safely. Overall not a bad experience.
The store had great items to purchase. We settled for a baseball cap and a sign but there so many options including six packs and bigger packs of their recent beers t-shirts and more. I would definitely return with a group of friends in the near future.

Probably the biggest craft brewery in the state of Connecticut, Two Roads selections are good and high quality. They have a lot of variety in the tap room all the time. Once in a while they would have a Pilot batch beer for on-site consumption. Food truck is always available outside if you need food. Large facility to hang out and definitely good vibe from people.

Limited tap selection when I went. Brewery was hosting an event so staff seemed consumed by that. Food trucks outside were excellent.

The good: The beer is fantastic. Lots of great options. Big enough space to accommodate large groups
The bad: Staff/"security"refused entry to sober guests due to recycling a beer from a party van. They admitted days later they were in the wrong, but still - staff refused to even show an ounce of customer service to us.

Friendly staff, quick service, spacious room, great tunes and a large selection of beer. Plus there's some delicious food trucks. Overall a solid brewery
