On tap at Holy Smoke, Mahopac, NY

Pours cloudy orange with a fluffy white head.
Nose is intense, piny, fruity, grapefruity, pineapple, awesome.

Taste is similar, not as intense, bitter but not astringent.
Super easy to drink, with a clean bitter finish that does not stick in your throat. Mouth feel is a little thin considering how thick the beer looks (it is pretty mich opaque) but it helps to make it such an easy, refreshing beer to drink.

One of the best beers I have tried in a while, and the first I have had from Single Cut, but I will seek them out in the future. And at 5%abv, I could drink a lot of these!

On tap at the Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours hazy juice like orange, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing. Looks super turbid, trubby all the way.

Smells like orange, pineapple, and pine.

This is super juicy up front, essentially hop flavored juice, with a very, very bitter but clean finish. There's orange, pineapple, and grapefruit, and the pine at the end like mentioned.

This is pretty thin and light bodied, has a bit of a hop water feel to it, with a good level of carbonation.

Not bad, but not Singlecut's best by far.

From 05/06/14 notes. Had on tap at The Jeffrey in NYC. 14 oz. pour in a tulip for $5 during happy hour, can't beat that.

a - Pours a very hazy, dark brown-orange color with two inches of bright white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of citrus hops, grapefruit, pine, galaxy hops, fruity malts, and tropical fruits. Nice nose, lots of fruits and hops, I like it a lot.

t - Tastes of pine hops, citrus hops, resin, galaxy hops, grapefruit, fruity malts, lemon, and light tropical fruits. Taste has a lot more pine and grapefruit, and is very bitter compared to the nose. A step down but nice.

m - Medium body and moderate carbonation. Bitter bite to it.

o - Overall a nice beer, one of the better Singlecut beers I've had. The nose is awesome, though the taste is very bitter. If you like bitter IPAs you'll probably love this, worth checking out with way though.

On tap at the brewery, I think this might be my favorite SingleCut beer to date

A: Cloudy, unfiltered. Great bright white head

S: Dank, resin, hint of pine, pineapple. Quite unique

T: SMOOTH! Nice rounded bitterness carried thru the entire gulp - stronger than the aroma would suggest. Malt is restrained. As with aroma, flavors are dank resiny pine with a pineapple-dank fruit finish

M: Again very smooth and not thin

O: Outstanding effort from SC and it's only 5%
