On tap at Holy Smoke, Mahopac, NY

Pours cloudy orange with a fluffy white head.
Nose is intense, piny, fruity, grapefruity, pineapple, awesome.

Taste is similar, not as intense, bitter but not astringent.
Super easy to drink, with a clean bitter finish that does not stick in your throat. Mouth feel is a little thin considering how thick the beer looks (it is pretty mich opaque) but it helps to make it such an easy, refreshing beer to drink.

One of the best beers I have tried in a while, and the first I have had from Single Cut, but I will seek them out in the future. And at 5%abv, I could drink a lot of these!

i have had the bon bon, which i assume is the double version of this, but it was cool to try this one while we were in. one of the palest and haziest of these that i have seen, really kind of whitewashed looking from the tap, big fluffy white head on it, and lots of starchy density, pale straw color is all. looks thick for its low abv. i smell the likes of some serious southern hemisphere hops, maybe with galaxy in front, but its hard to pick out specifically, juicy with notes of lime and ripe melon up front, and a bag of the blue skittles candy as well, oily and enormously hopped for what this is, absurd i would say to call it a pale ale not an ipa, even if bitterness is extremely low here, this much hops almost mandates it being an ipa. tons of flavor from the hops, as intense as they are in the nose, subtle peach juiciness too cantaloupe, orange tic tacs, and white tea. its beautiful, maybe not as drinkable or clean as i like my pale ale to be, but this is a different kind of take on the style entirely, and its hard to set my glass down. each sip is unique, and even though its a little heavier than i like, on the edge of overdosed on the hops, i like the beer a lot overall. these guys are doing some of the cooler and more memorable hazy beers in the game right now. i liked all we had in here!

16 oz can. Pours amber with tall, long-lasting, fluffy white head and soda-like carbonation. Aroma is of citrusy hops, tropical fruit and caramel malt. Body is medium and crisp. Herbal hops, ripe fruit and caramel malt fill the mouth. Finish is long and dry. Not bad overall.

The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt golden copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Sly stringy lace. The aroma had some sweet fruity hops, slightly like mango and then some floral hop qualities arranging nicely over top of some bready to toast-like malts. The flavor was mainly sweet through the blend of the hops to the malts. Arranged nicely into the aftertaste and finish in the same way. The feel was about medium bodied with a nice sessionability about it. Easy going carbonation felt good along with the ABV. Overall, pretty solid APA that I could see myself coming back to.
