L: Pours a very murky hay-like color. Very nice lacing and decent head retention.

S: Tart, tropical hops paired with a sturdy malt backbone. So many different fruits are brought to mind: pineapple, mango, grape skins, peaches, passionfruit and a hefty dose of lemony citrus zest. The diversity of fruity hop aromas make this hop bomb extremely complex on the nose.

T: Wow, I feel like I just got bitch-slapped by a whole vine of Citra – really one of those first sips that leave you stunned for a few seconds. This is a puckering IPA if I’ve ever had one: bright fruity hops and citrus zest give your salivatory glands a kick with each sip. Grapefruit, passionfruit and pine flavors with just enough of a malt backbone to keep it balanced while drinking like an old school West Coast DIPA. Has a long, drying, bitter finish, which at 121 IBUs is hardly surprising.

F: On the lighter side of medium bodied with a supremely fluffy mouthfeel. Really awesome in this department.

Overall: This is frankly one of the best IPAs I’ve had in a long time. The puckering quality is exceptional, the tropical and citrus hop notes complex, and the mouthfeel spot on.

The beer comes in a beautiful hazy rich golden orange.

The aroma hits of tropical citrus, orange, grapefruit, white peach, pineapple. tangerine.

The flavor continues with lots of sweet oranges, peaches, mango, a crackery malt, a bit of sweetness, in general, a really light malt backbone. A drying finish with some citrus pith and a bit of bitterness. A clean finish.

Comparable to Tree House and Trillium in characteristics, this is a phenomenal IPA.

This beer is very underrated. By far best hoppy offering from Singlecut. Awesome Southern Hemisphere hop aromas as usual, but with an almost perfect soft, creamy mouthfeel that isn't far from what Tree House does. Pretty great stuff.

Had on tap. Pours hazy, orange-yellow in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is grapefruit, orange juice, and lemons. Medium bodied and well balanced. Is right up there with Tree House levels of juiciness. Delicious beer. One of the better ipas I have had recently.

A bomber with a bottle date of 3/08 poured in my Weyerbacher tulip for the grand occasion.

Look- Pours a hazy but brilliant deep gold color leaving a generous finger of creamy white foam.

Smell- Lemongrass, orange peel, grapefruit and some bready yeast.

Taste- Lemon zest, mild grapefruit and some orange peel. There is some bread/biscuit flavor in the finish.

Feel- Slick, crisp and very refreshing for an IPA.

Overall- This is one flavorful and refreshing IPA and the 7.4 percent abv. is very well hidden. I'm drinking this after a day of yard work and it's hitting the spot like a fine saison. Another winner from Singlecut!

pours a beautiful hazy apricot flavor, great nose of hops, flavors are pretty intense with hoppy pine and citrus flavors, and a nice funky aftertaste--much better than billy half and full-stack IMO, and more intense than OH beers ive had...definitely the best of NY IPAs and very close to TH and HF offerings....

Growler fill at Craft Beer Cellar in Warwick, NY.

slightly cloudy, deep golden color. Big foamy head with good retention and lacing.
Lots of citrus (grapefruit) and some pine too.
Beer is a little light when it first hits the tongue, but then the citrus flavor hits you and fills your mouth.
The after taste is initially slightly bitter but then the citrus and some piney resin comes through. It must be these New Zealand hops!
Overall this is a great beer and exactly what I seek in an IPA. Cheers!

this is really saying something, but its true, that this might be, and im pretty sure it is, the best ipa i had in 2015, and one of the best i have ever had overall. heady topper and pliny be damned, this is next level beer!!! i loved all the single cut stuff i had, but this was hands down their best in my opinion. i was floored by it really. on tap at one of the coolest little bottle shops in central new york, the thirsty pug. a little bit of color to it, not amber, but pushing caramel i would say, with a tall white head and more clarity than some of the other highly acclaimed east coast india pale ales. it smells like a slice of heaven, slightly woody like centennial, but with a ton of hop layers. tangerine perhaps, pineapple yes, christmas tree, spruce tips, passion fruit but not tangy, and confectioners sugar but not sweet. just amazing. the taste is like the nose, but all the depth is impossibly well integrated, hard to pick out varietals and such, but i sure wish i knew, i would love to take a stab at making an ipa like this. nothing really like it. it lingers long in the finish, somewhat fruity, but not sweet or bitter, just modest lingering bitterness there. so so good, my mouth waters for it again. i must have had it super fresh, people dont seem to be going crazy for it, but mark my words, this will become one of the most sought after ipas in the country before too long. its as god as any out there. A+ amazing!

Excellent, very New England like. Orangey color like many of the New England beers. Excellent smell. As it warms tastes better. If this one was in a Trillium bottle this one would be higher rated.

L - Deep cloudy orange with a hint of amber at the center. Completely opaque with a fluffy white head that dissipates to leave thick lacing. Fine particulates suspended in the beer - hazy as hell and probably half hop cone still in the bottle
S - Mango orange fruit cocktail! This stuff smells amazing - bright tropical fruit with mandarin orange
T - more of the same - bright tropical notes with candied orange peel and a burst of OJ freshness - had to check the bottle to see that they hadn't simply sold me a bottle of fruit juice! A touch of pithy bitterness to finish
M - Medium to full with soft fine carb that leaves a velvety mouthfeel

Overall I was wowed by this beer - stunning IPA

Growler filled at the Green Growler Grocery in Croton on Hudson NY

Pours hazed lighter amber under a LONG lasting off white cap, that nicely goes to a meraingue and leaves world class lacing and froth..nice looking beer.

Citric hopped up nose

Tasty, fresh hop infused full flavor IPA. Citrus, mint, juniper all over this one.
