Notes:
SOME CAT FROM JAPAN suggested we do an IPA that is J-U-I-C-Y. So we packed up a pack horse and made it happen! Soft doughy and slightly tangy malt lies under bright citrus, round tropical fruit and mild pine resin hop aromatics that underscore the waves of flavors to come.

It’s good. I do not mean any disrespect to this community or the site itself, but I know what I like and don’t. I do not have a refined palette nor the expertise that some folks here have. It’s good beer. I personally have no clue why or what you need to know about the “feel”. It’s all a little pretentious.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is straw gold and light haziness, head is off white and presents 1 finger thick, then dissipates to solid top and some lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is light citrus, light mixed tropicals, some bread and biscuit.
Taste is similar with a light citrus start, maybe lean to orange, then some tropical fruit but nothing definitive, then some malt notes of bread and biscuit. Not an emphatic flavor or aroma.
Mouthfeel is lower carbonation, moderate sweetness and slightly full feel, moderate bitterness.
Overall subdued DDHIPA - aroma not bursting forth and flavor seems more neutral to the style. Still very drinkable and pleasant.

I don't see any date on the can or label.
Appearance: The body is a light gold-beige color with a lot of haze, but it is still easy to see through the glass and even read text. The head is very large, white, and foamy. It has very good retention and lacing.
Aroma: There is a light aroma of wild flower with a hint of what smells like mint and a touch of orange that pops in from time to time. Mostly it has this floral scent which is nice.
Taste: Up front there is this caramel and malt flavor. As it moves to the center of the tongue there is some crushed grain character and this dusty old chocolate character. The back of the tongue has a light herbal character. Aftertaste is bitter herbs and a hint of mint.
Mouthfeel: It is lighter bodied with a medium to medium-low herbal bitterness depending on the sip. It's easy to drink but the bitterness stands out quite a bit.
Overall: The label states that this is a "DOUBLE DRY-HOPPED IPA" but it doesn't really seem to exude a lot of aroma or flavor that typically comes from a beer that is dry hopped. The floral and herbal characters are alright but as a whole it tastes fairly muddled and feels like an average attempt at a New England Style IPA. It isn't a beer I would likely buy again and it isn't one I'd readily recommend but it's decent enough that I could drink it if somebody handed me one.

Can dated 11/22/21 into pint glass. Pours a very hazy medium gold with a persistent off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is orange, mango, a hint of pine, and floral notes. Mouthfeel is soft yet clean. Finish is fruity with low residual bitterness. Overall, not my favorite NEIPA but certainly an enjoyable one.

16oz can.
L: Hazy, dull orange with a thin cap that leaves sheets of lacing.
S: Leafy, herbal, wet cardboard aroma.
T: Overripe mango & orange, pine and parsley. Slightly dank with moderate bitterness.
F: Medium body with a touch of slick and a keen, bitter edge.
O: An earthy example of the style. Good stuff.

I’ve tried hundreds of beers and this one just hits all the right notes. It’s the only one I’ve ever had I felt obliged to rate. It may be the closest to perfect beer I’ve ever had.

16 oz can from Evan (thanks bud!), dated 12/14/20, into wide mouthed glass.
Solid bulb of yellow-orange, with a creamy white cap of 2 fingers. Leaves tons of lace destroying the glass.
Aroma is dank, wet orange juice. It's scrumptious. Plenty of lovely weedy herbal elements on top of a pithy grapefruit presence and sugary orange juice. This is what it's all about.
Flavor is like freshly squeezed oranges and I'm not sure how they do that. This is OJ in a glass, folks. A nip of tight, smoky herbal hop at the far end. There's an element of fluffy pink cloud in there too, like circus peanut perhaps, signing off with the yeast signature. I have to think about it though. Straight up without thinking it's breakfast OJ.
Feel is sharp, tight, resinous, and peak-y. Busy with carbonation. Moderate alcohol heat welcome at this house.
Overall, a classic New England IPA and that's a perfect situation for me. Even with all of the Bearded Iris beers I acquired from TN a month ago (my 2nd choice), they still pale in comparison to a Singlecut beer at 4 months. Absolutely awesome. Singlecut is one of my favorite breweries. Recommended.

Looks okay, not up to true hazy snuff. The tropics are very much in evidence with chewy papaya, mango and pineapple are predominant with a hints of pine, grass and honey. Very curious palate - herbaceous with a lot of bitterness up front in the resiny variety. The tropical fruit from the nose is there but not as apparent. Drinks a little thin.

Pours a hazy yellow color. A large foam head retains well.
A fruity nose evokes juicy notes of fruit punch. Aromas of stone and tropical fruit include, peach, nectarine, apricot, mango and pineapple. Developing aromas of grass and dank spices pair with citrusy notes of orange and lime.
Juicy with resinous fruity notes of peach, nectarine, pineapple, pear, melon and grapefruit. Creamy malts and dry cracker support the hops while at the same time providing a semi dry palate. Muted herbal spices increase over time, adding greater drinkability, and include notes of pine, grass and peppery hops. The finish is dry with a touch of alcohol spice.
Medium bodied with an easy to drink lightness for a DIPA. The mouthfeel is smooth yet semi crisp.
This IPA really grew on me as the fruity flavors became increasingly resiny and spicy. Great job overall.

The name is terrible but it is oddly a bit more flavorful when colder though it hits all angles with a balance. Tangerine, creamy and malty, and a hint of bitter at the end but none of which are overwhelming....not bad.

This stuff is heckin juicy! And hazy. And well balanced. I got so mad when I learned that such a great brewery opened up in Queens after I moved out of the borough. Fortunately I live close enough to get their stuff from local liquor stores. SingleCut makes some of my favorite IPAs and this has made it to the list.

L: A midrange milky orange-yellow. A finger of ivory head, fades to an uneven ring and leaves speckles and broken lines of sticky lacing.
S: Honey, guava, papayas, and biscuits! Some balancing astringency.
T: Quite soft but tropical. Semi-sweet. Bitter but not crazily so on the back end. A bit herbal and peppery also. Overall really wonderful.
F: Super smooth, lower in carbonation, but it works for this creamy smooth brew.
O: If there was only a name for this style, most like a west coast double, but not as bitter, soft and smooth tropicals. This would be the prime example of that style perfected!

Had Weird & Gilly, my first beer from SingleCut, poured from pint can, label stamped "11/05/19," into nonic pint.
A fetchingly orange haze bomb, with a huge head that sticks around well enough, and also leaves some little lace. Nice fruity and floral aroma, with light malt showing. Malty and bitter up front, sticky and citrusy-orange in the middle, cleaned up by a very dry but not truly bitter finish.
