Perfect Pint pour at Whole Foods.

A- Slightly hazed golden body with a finger of frothy, pale white head. Gentle carbonation visible. 4.5

S- Pungent tropical fruit. Unripe mango most prominent. 4.25

T- Interesting. Very earthy and grassy with sort of a rye bread sort of flavor. Closes fruitier with grapefruit and mango mingling with the other flavors. 3.75

M- Like the flavor, it has a grassy and earthy quality. Feels kinda filthy. Feelthy. Trademarked. Bitterness is mild. 3.75

This doesn't quite do it for me. Seems a bit messy and has some flavors that don't quite make sense in an East Coast, West Coast or English IPA. Just extraneous. If it worked, kudos, but here, I don't feel a success story entirely. Having said all that bullshit, it's still enjoyable.

On tap at Stoneyard Craft Beer Hall and Grill in Webster, NY.

This one pours a vibrant hazy orange, just sort of glows on the table there. There's a small head that leaves lot of lacing.

This also smells very vibrant, fresh squeezed orange juice, pineapple, and freshly cut grass. Can't wait to dive into this one.

Singlecut just seems to get me. This has a very impressive amount of juiciness up front- bitter grapefruit, orange juice, a little bit of pineapple, with a subtly bitter grassy undertone, keeping it from being too sweet.

This is lighter bodied, but not thin, with a very juicy and well carbonated mouthfeel.

Singlecut scores another touchdown this beer. Ziggy played guitar!

The long neck forces a chugging pie and yields a big fluffy thick 1.5 finger head that fades semi slowly, decent soapy lacing, murky dark tangerine orange color.

Nose very dank, musty tropical fruit, plenty of pith, rind and pine sap, herbal grassy, some sweet malts, apricot, etc.

Taste brings big toasted cracker malt, grainy sweet cracker malt, little reddish toasted, then hops, herbal earthy, little spicy, pine, mild candied fruit, stone fruit, touch peach jam, apricot, little tangerine citrus. Finish little sticky sweet, more pith and rind lingering, and candied fruit.

Mouth is med to fuller bod, decent carb.

Overall eh, not the style of ipa I expected from these guys, pretty boring and too malty.

Drank from a 1 pt. 9 fl. oz. bottle purchased at Fort Point Market, Boston, MA
Bottled on: 8.10
Served in a pint glass

The hazy, dark yellow ochre body was capped by a tight and cream, inch-tall crop of off-white foam. Solid retention. The head slowly fell to a thin, lasting film. A few odd streaks of lacing trickled down the glass.

The nose was impressive. Citrusy hops dominated. Fairly punchy. Lots of juicy orange and tangerine. Touch of sweetness. Bready malts were detectible. As the beer sat, the nose intensified. Some dank, weed-like notes came forth. A tropical fruity quality appeared as well. Bit of musty passionfruit.

Citrus notes also came through strong in the flavor. Lots of orange and orange peel. Somewhat pithy and bitter. Grapefruit rind appeared in the finish. More pith and bitterness. Resiny hop notes lingered after the swallow.

Light, fluffy, frothy mouthfeel. The liquid contained a fine, subtle effervescence. Frothy, slick and smooth on the palate.

Although Weird & Gilly registers in at 6.6% ABV, it felt lighter in both flavor and in body compared to SingleCut's other IPAs. All in all, an enjoyable offering but definitely not one of the better beers in their portfolio.

Wow, New England Style IPA for sure. Amazing grapefruit taste and aroma without any actual fruit. Great foamy head, clear body. Bitterness is just enough. Great beer.

Typical Singlecut bomber....11/30/16 bottling date

Pours heavily hazed lighter tangerine, delicate and well developed tiny bubble film and great looking stained glass sheeting.

Orange infused nose

Delicious tropical fruit bomb IPA from Singlecut with waves of orange notes, some lime, some ripe pineapple...well done and quite tasty...go get some and enjoy

Had on tap at Walrus and Carpenter in Bridgeport, CT. Into a fluted stemmed glass Weird & Gilly is a slightly cloudy but still clear amber color with a one finger head and some splotchy lacing.

Smell is pretty hoppy, dank, herbal, some citrus, bit of sweetness. Flavor wise has a good sweet malt note, then some real herbaceous hops, dankness, good juiciness like pineapple and mango, finishes pretty bitter.

Light and tingly mouthfeel, maybe a bit too light and watery for the body, but otherwise quite good. Typical SingleCut IPA here: hoppy, juicy, dank, and a delicious!

Pretty blown away by this one.

Color is hazy orange. Head disappeared after a little bit and left no lacing. Smell was pungent and juicy. Taste delivered on the smell but also was bigger: citrus/mango hit pretty hard but there is some breadiness there as well. As a below reviewed noted the feel was a little more carbonated and fizzy that usual for an IPA.

The smell was top notch and I wasn't expecting the taste to match. Figured it was a tease. But the taste was too good to be true. Really well put together even with the fizziness at the end, which somehow worked well for this IPA.

This one pours a hazy gold with thick head and lacing. Smells very refreshing, citrus, floral, hops, and malt. The taste is very good, nice dry hops blended with grapefruit, lemon, orange, and sweet floral notes and some mild malt. The finish is crisp and dry and very smooth overall, this is a refreshing IPA and great mix of flavors. Very clean and well done.
