Pours a hazy, deep orange color with a 2 finger sudsy biscuit head. Aroma is a citrusy pineapple blend with some pepper to it. The taste accentuates the sweeter pineapple side more. The mid=taste flattens out to a light malt so I'm thinking the sweet hops don't last long enough. The finish is a mix of lightish bitterness and some pepper as well as a light alcohol burn. I don't get any of the "dank" notes the description implies, nor do I get stone fruit.. Feel is generally soft.

This is a pretty good DIPA in that it imparts some nice tropical hop flavor but it falls a little flat in my book, relying too much on that flavor to carry the beer.

Nothing special or unique with this one. Tastes like 1000s of others. Expected way better from singlecut. Not up tho their usual caliber.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned March 28th 2018.

Thick rich creamsicle orange color, with a bit of deep appearances. Opaque but not turbid either, making for a nice show of some carbonation also. Off white head, somewhere between khaki and white color. Tops solid strong at three easy fingers, probably more, and a good fine bubbles appearance. Flat topped mound of retention, and soapy pill lacing all over.

Really enjoy the aroma on this. Hop forward in a good mix of dank earth that seems slightly herbal spicy, and an excellent juicy orange citrus quality that's more sweet and mixing zesty oils. Real nice balance between the two, it bounces back and forth, with the sweet orange eventually winning. Neutral malt and yeast character, which seems at least supportive and knows how to stay out of the way. Excellent for a DIPA.

Palate is just great. Thick rich bodied of malt, with a touch of sweetness but not overly flavoring of booze and sugary syrupy pain. Mid palate rushes excellent earthy dank tones, and fininshes with a glowing almost booming orange flesh biting flavor. Zesty atftertaste of citrus oil, and touches of even a little bit of sweet white bakery pastry bread. Soft bitterness, and low astringency make for an excellent balance as well. Not even a hint of large ABV quality that comes from your usual DIPA.

Just a great excellent all around DIPA in every way. Not mind blowing, but just really well put together, great job on this one.

1-41-18 - On tap at Rattle and Hum in NYC during the snow. Served in a short ovals glass. Nice. Tasty and smooth, not too bitter, not to hoppy. Very very drinkable. Awesome, but not my fav from Singlecut

Double dry hopped IIPA... Hazy medium gold body with a tall off-white head that left lace lines down the glass... Aromas mixed orchard and tropical fruits with fresh-cut grains, and a bit of herbal and floral high and danker low notes... Flavors presented somewhat muddled impressions of the same... "Balanced" as it were, between grain malts and hoppiness... Bitterness was moderate, with a bit of resinous shellac on the tongue, medium-weight and soft, with softly sweet notes of caramel and chewy grain... ample carbonation, and a bit of heft to the body... Good but not great... 1/2/18 canning...

A: The beer is very hazy amber yellow in color. It poured with a finger high off white head that died down but left a short head covering the surface and a coating of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of tropical fruits—papayas seem to stand out in particular—are present in the nose along with notes of citrus and hints of melons.
T: The taste is a near mirror image to the smell and seems somewhat "juicy" as there are lots of hop flavors with only a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has interesting and prominent aromas and flavors of hops. It also hid any traces of alcohol very well.
