Notes: GET UNSHATTERED with this brand new yin/yang riff on beloved Charlie’s Good Tonight. Lush, full, and soft, compared to Charlie’s crisp and dry, FLATTER is packed with aroma of juicy pineapple candy, lime/mango, and a touch of black cherry, with a long medium bitter finish and a round mouthfeel. Enjoy in icy winters or short packed summers while pondering life’s let downs and lift ups.

Pours hazy orange, standard head and lacing. Aroma is of fresh oranges and pineapple. Taste is strong on the citrus side. Tropical on the back end. Feel is lightly carbonated, lightly bittered..medium and smooth. Delicious, well done and I'm not surprised.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left a patch of bubbles that covered most of the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of limes and pineapples are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of cherries, limes, mangos, and pineapples along with a light to moderate amount of bitterness. The cherries become a bit stronger as the beer warms up.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little juicy and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has an interesting and diverse mix of fruity flavors. It doesn't have as much "bite" and crispness compared to other IPAs.

Pours straw yellow/orange with moderate fluffy head. Aroma & taste of lightly fruity hops with some grassiness & floral. Had after a Push Push struggle which I preferred as it was juicier & had a slightly fuller array of fruity hop flavour. This is also quite a nice IPA.

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Hazed juicy pour. Thick fluffy white head... great lacing.

S: Dank and tropical. Juicy... fruity.

T.F: Big time tropical hops. Mango, pineapple, melon, peach, and grapefruit. Sweet up front with modest bitterness. Oily on the tongue with creamy carbonation. Leaves you wanting another sip.

O: Another outstanding Singlecut IPA. Not sure what the real difference is between their brews... but this one's delicious.

Do these guys ever get tired of brewing hazy IPAs? Guess not, eh? This is a new one, double dry-hopped and all that jazz, but I have no idea with what hops. One of my favorite things about Singlecut is that, even though their IPAs are all pretty similar in overall quality, they do sometimes have some surprising flavor differences when picked apart. And I'm about to do just that.

Pours a pretty typical hazy Singlecut IPA in my glass... dense and nearly-opaque orange/yellow with a nice cap of foamy bone-white head that sits at about 2 fingers at its highest point. Once it settles down at a half-finger with nice legs and excellent lace, I'm prepared to say this is one of the better Singlecut IPA pours I've seen lately. Pretty gorgeous. Stable foam and overall great retention on both head and lace show. Nailed it.

Nice nose with kind of a healthy B-vitamin-dense yeasty kick to it. Ripe melon, grapefruit peel and dense layers of mango and guava. Very tropical but also has a little bit of stone fruit to it as well. Maybe apricot or peach. I've experienced this with hops like Belma and Huell Melon, for sure. Will be interesting to see how it translates to the palate.

On the tongue, this is a bit deadened by how yeasty it is, and the malt bill seems to take center stage too, despite this being 2xDH according to the can. Grassy and tropical, for sure, but there's just no hoppy follow-through in the finish. Still getting peach and melon, though... those elements really do punch through the haze (no pun intended), giving this some liveliness to be certain. That said, I just wish it were a little lighter-bodied. It's creamy and dense, with an almost overbearing mouthfeel that never lets up until the finish, which is kind of plain and unenthusiastic. It just doesn't have any crispness or punch to it. Lingering bitter bite without much character. Rindlike and aspirin-y... chalky. I bet this is really oat and/or wheat heavy, which doesn't really do it too many favors. As far as NEIPAs go, this one started strong, but the hefty bitterness and creamy complexion seem at odds with one another and let the beer down a bit by the end of my glass. Still an enjoyable drink, but doesn't sit in any kind of upper echelon for me.

16 oz can poured into a tulip pint.

Hazed-out, opaque blonde. 1/2 finger of creamy white head. Cool can illustration.

Peach, passion fruit, lime, guava, and mango.

Peach rings, passion fruit, and pine needle. Lime, mango, and hints of guava. Light caramel & cream maltiness. Vanilla rides throughout the base. Finishes with lingering grapefruit zest and pine.

Medium bodied, smooth, juicy, crisp, and lightly sweet.

Smooth, hoppy, and lightly sweet. On par with everything that SingleCut releases.
