Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a modest head capping the amber liquid; a few splashes of lace hang around

Smell: Juicy, with citrus tones of tangerine and grapefruit along with a hint of peach

Taste: Juicy citrus flavors forward with tangerine merging into grapefruit bitterness; through the middle, peach and tropical tones emerge; the finish is dry and pretty bitter

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation

Overall: SingleCut's flagship is a worthy staple in the category

16 oz can. Bottom of the can reads: Add sprinkles $0.25
9/12/17 opened on 9/26/17
PNW and Austin hops. 135 ibu.

A dark honey color with golden highlights. Moderate white foam cap, solid coverage.

The nose is all tropical fruity hops and pine. Sweet citrus, zippy, evergreen earth and a hint of sweet, caramel malt.

The mouthfeel is actually very full, multi layers of pineapple, bitter pine and tropical fruity style hop flavor's pile up as the overall feel and flavor remains heavy with layers of juicy hops, crisp but heavy malty features, while finishing dry and slightly bitter.

Some alcohol heat and tingle rides in and mixes well with the clump of dry and earthy effects. This hop combo is very complex and remains "in your face" through to the end. A bit of a "heavy" 2x IPA with a large malty balance and heady mouthfeel, keeps it slightly out of the "easy to drink" catagory that many bigger IPA's have been approaching, even with an 8% abv. All in all, a serious and interesting brew.

pours a clear gold with a thick head, looks pretty nice

for such a clear beer, it has a NE style haze bomb aroma. tons of fruit, i get pineapple and some mango

flavor is a ton of fruit, mango bomb IMO. not exactly my favorite IPA flavor but it's still good. easy to drink for 8.2%.

i'd love to try their variations of this beer because i think with a different hop bill this would be ridiculously amazing
