Dark orange and hazy beer with a pillowy white head that leaves lacing all about. The aroma is tangerine, caramel, pine and a nice malt sweetness. The taste is citrus and caramel with a bruising bitterness that fades and melds perfectly with the sweetness. World class brew.

Hazy, dirty orange with a thick latte looking head covers a tremendous aroma of grapefruit which trends towards earthiness and sweetness as it warms. Taste along same lines, with sweetness leading the way until an almost vinous tart passes through. Bitterness sticks to the grapefruit script with almost no aftertaste to speak of in this medium bodied beer. Very great, very happy to have tried it!

Pours a beautiful honey orange with thick white foam, clingy lacing.
Aroma is sweet and malty with citrus and resin.
Taste follows the maltiness of the nose, with lots of citrus and pine on the finish.
Creamy mouthfeel with just a hint of bitterness on the finish.

I don't usually love the malty IPAs but this is very good.

Pours a cloudy copper color with a one inch head that leaves decent lacing. Smells of tropical fruits, citrus fruits, pine and a hint of malt. Tastes of pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, floral notes, and some malt sweetness. Finishes with mild bitterness that does linger. Very complex and well balanced. Light to medium mouthfeel and light carbonation, smooth and easy drinking.

I tried this from the bottle chilled in a tulip.
The color is golden amber with a thick canopy of white head with fine bead and sticky lace.
The smell is very good -lots of tropical hop aromas with slight citrus fruit and mild herbal/floral odors. The feel is excellent -resinous and moderately bitter with light spiciness and subtle alcohol in the finish with medium carbonation and mild sweetness.

The taste is very good with some tropical hop flavors that bring to mind mango and slight fruity pineapple-like flavor with a gentle tangerine and mild lemon zest flavor mid palate. The malt is perfectly in line with the style with a good spice in the back with slight alcohol as it finishes. This is a bursting IPA with smooth oily dank and herbal yet juicy and incredibly drinkable for the strength -Must Try!

Not your father's "billy beer". very murky muddy copper look. malt comes through on the nose. in terms of taste, i like the hop flavor: citrus, dank, and pine.

A three digit bottled on date with the middle number unreadable, 2_2 for what it's worth. Let's pour this bomber in the Weyerbacher tulip for a taste.

Look- Pours a dark cloudy orange leaving a finger of white foam that laces the sides as it settles.

Smell- Pineapple, grapefruit, some orange zest and a hint of caramel malt.

Taste- Pineapple/orange juice along with some grapefruit. Some floral notes emerge in the finish along with a kiss of malt sweetness.

Feel- Very slick, light and easy drinking for 8.2 percent.

Overall- Does Singlecut make a bad beer? This is another winner for me! A nice juicy tropical flavor that isn't cloying or artificial tasting washed down by a slightly sweet malt backbone. A tasty easy drinker for the style.

This is a truly top-tier DIPA. Taste and aroma are intense tropical fruit. Color is a hazy yellow-orange straw. Others have said that this is on the sweeter side, but I think that the maltiness is necessary to balance out the intensity of the hops here. This beer is absolutely worth seeking out.

Thanks, Xenoreactive!

Pours a murky copper color. The head is a finger high, off-white in shade. Retention impresses, as does the thickly creamy texture. You could sit on this head and it would still stand firm. A thick ring of lacing just about the body remains.

The aroma of this, just like Billy Half-Stack, shows Singlecut's skillful usage of Mosaic hops. I pick up incredible amounts of tangerine, grapefruit, and orange flesh; lesser tones of mango, papaya, white grape, and strawberry also show up. A very subtle kiss of pine appears; even better is the lack of sweet onion that can plague many Mosaic brews. I'm still not done: there are some mild ale esters showing up, too. The depth of this beer's hop profile puts 90% of all IPAs to shame - that's before I mention the subtle malt backbone adding to everything. Very impressive.

A touch more malt shows up compared to what the aroma suggested, but only a touch. It opens up with plenty of mango, papaya, and tangerine, leading to a malty middle (think caramel, biscuit, and toffee). More of the fruity Mosaic hops also close things nicely (adding just a kiss of pine, as well), along side estery qualities of peach and apricot. I'm amazed how deep this one is, frankly. It's complex - not complicated. Though it isn't quite perfectly balanced, it's still incredibly delicious.

Full-bodied and soft, it doesn't have the sharpness of many the cost of being slightly too sweet. A gentle twinge of bitterness and moderate carbonation helps it somewhat. This is something to be savored, instead of something to be drunk quickly.

Though not perfect, it's a firmly top-tier DIPA that takes a different approach to the style - instead of deceptive lightness and a fairly simple profile, this is thick, rich, and complex. I'd call it a one-and-done beer, but this single bottle is probably more satisfying in one sitting than six DIPAs of average quality (as if anyone would want to drink six DIPAs in a sitting, but that's neither here nor there...) An absolute must-try.

4.22/5: Billy did REALLY well

Bottle from Colonial Spirits.
Pours a hazy murky grapefruit juice color with a huge bubbly bone white head that persists. Bready toffee caramel maltiness with plenty of earthy citrus to counter. Sweet bready fruity maltiness. Citrus and pine hop flavor. Light to moderate hop bitterness. Not bad, a bit sweet for my tastes though

I was very excited to try my first Singlecut beer. Look is murky hazy orange/copper. Smell is faint pineapple and earthy. Taste is hoppy, but very earthy. White onion, fake pineapple. The pine profile saves the taste. Feel is chewy. Not what I expected. This is definitely a sipper but after one, it's one and done. Disappointed in this one. The bottle was also quite fresh.

pours a slightly hazy amber, beautiful lacing. smell is pretty malty, some peach and citrus apparent, maybe a little bit of pine in there as well. taste starts with hops: resin, peach, and lemon zest. then the malt: caramel. then the ops come back around at the end for a big pine kick. also some alcohol burn as the beer gets warmer but it balances well. feel is great for a DIPA. overall decent, definitely one of my least favorites from these guys.

Comes in a mostly clear, just slightly hazy amber color with a good sized creamy white head that leaves lots of sticky lacing.
The aroma is very sweet and prominent in stone and tropical fruits. Apricots, canned peaches in syrup, passionfruit, pineapple, papaya, strawberries, honey, and a very subtle underlying earthiness and dankness.
The taste follows the nose. Apricot, peaches, pineapple, strawberry, passionfruit, mango, papaya, and guava. The malt offers biscuits smothered in honey, but remains barely noticeable beneath the onslaught of fruit. The underlying earth and dankness keeps the sweetness in check. Finishes mostly clean with some faint apricot, pineapple, and grapefruit notes lingering on.
The mouthfeel is medium-plus, with some creaminess, but a bit more crisp and carbonated than some of their other IPAs.

Another great one from Singlecut. This takes a back seat to Bon Bon 2X TNT and Does Anybody Remember Laughter? for me, but it is still excellent.

16.9 oz. bottle dated 3/30

Pours a hazy gold amber with a creamy white foam head. Smells like peach, dark caramel, grapefruit, apricot, honey, dank mango, nectarine, guava, pineapple, passionfruit, tangerine, with fresh pine and earthy grass. Tastes pretty sweet and malty with some honey and dark caramel malt, paired with a hop rich tropical, citrus, and stone fruit combo of tangerine, guava, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, apricot, mild peach, nectarine, with dank pine and fresh earthy grass. Feels medium bodied, creamy with low carbonation. Overall a nice and balanced IIPA.

Poured from the 16.9oz bottle that just arrived at my package store yesterday, no discernible freshness date. The snifter reveals this beer as a bright gold color with just a dusting of haze. A decent two finger head climbs up and leaves some spotty lacing.

Smell is tropical, very hoppy and sweet. Nice fruit notes throughout with a backbone of resin, powerful. Taste starts with a lighter malt note, somewhat bready. It's washed away by a big hop rush, some nice tropical notes here. Finishes very bitter, some lingering hop oils and some herbal/resin notes here.

Overall this is a great DIPA, it's big and bold but it has a ton of hops to swing it in their favor. While I prefer Bon Bon over this one, Billy / Full-Stack was quite a delight to drink.

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass not sure when it was bottled. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a 2 finger sticky off white head that clings to the glass like a fat kid holds onto the last girl scout cookie.

Smell is tropical tangerine, passion fruit, guava upfront with a nice shot of pine and grapefruit in slightly bitter finish.

Taste follows nicely with a little bit of biscuit to go with all the tropical flavors and pine and grapefruit very nice.

Mouthfeel is a little bigger than medium, nice amount of life, maybe a little dry, and outstanding drinkability for its size.

Overall this is a very good beer and Singlecut is a very impressive brewery, thanks @Mcballz13 once again, 3 for 3 with that box.

Pineapple, orange, tangerine and mango. A little malty. Sweet and dry. Lower carb. Pretty good, but probably the least favorite of the SingleCut ipas I've tried.

What an awesome beer. This is a total Heady Topper Killer. Citrusy, Danky, Resin. The appearance is fantastic. Cloudy, golden yellow with very nice lacing.

All in all this is a beer you must try!!!!

Poured from bottle dated a little more than 2 months ago, not ideal, but here we go. Body is a pale golden orange color, a white film remains over the body after the head dissipates, leaving good lacing. The smell is up front very tropical fruit, and in a very unique way I don't think I've ever had in a beer. Tropical citrus, candy - like pineapple, peach. Orange and grapefruit. The taste is even more like candy. I'm curious to see how this tastes very fresh, because this is tasting beautifully after two months. Great easy drinking mouthfeel, can't tell at all that it's at 8.2%.
Singlecut kills it.

16.9oz bottle. Pours a murky burnt orange color with very little head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is a hoppy blend of dank hops and tropical fruits. Light notes of honey along with some citrus. The taste is citrus and dank hops with some sweet honey and toasted malts. More pine and papaya towards the end. Floral hops and papaya finish. Some alcohol burn. Medium bodied with a somewhat lighter than expected mouthfeel. Overall, worth grabbing every so often.

2 weeks from bottling date

Appearance- Pours a deep pale straw, light golden color. Pillowy, creamy white colored head. Lots of stickiness to sides of glass.

Aroma- Sweet orange juice, orange zest. Bit of lemon. Juicy mango, papaya, pineapple juice.

Taste- Oranges, grapefruit, lemons, mango. More citrus notes than tropical, although there is a nice balance of sweet tropical, its just subtle. Grassy earthiness with a slight bitter dankness.

Feel- Medium feel, slightly creamy. Nice crisp carbonation.

Overall- Excellent double IPA. Citrus takes center stage in this one, although there is nice depth and complexity. Excellent, excellent use of hops.

pours nice dark orange with no transparancy evident. nice and cloudy. pillowy head retains well.I dint want to take a sip cause I don't want to ruin the look. nose is bursting of tropical notes and stone fruit. taste nice subtile pine with some floral in there right up front giving way to tropical mango, peaches, maybe some guava and apricot rounding out this full mouthfeel beauty. overall a little alcohol at the end but does not retract from a very nice beer. second beer ive had from singlecut and it delivers. entire palate wrecked.

I've had Full Stack from a 16.9 oz. bottle twice. The first time, I was blown away, calling it the Heady Topper of Queens. The second time, I was underwhelmed. I had remembered a more hazy orange color like that of the Hill Farmstead's, but this was a deeper, darker orange. Taste didn't disguise the alcohol as well as I remembered.

I think perhaps SingleCut struggles with consistency, as I got a borderline undrinkable bottle of Bon Bon 2X, but loved everything I had at the brewery itself.

Poured from a bottle filled at the brewery.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with a 1-finger white head. Good retention and lacing.

Aroma has lots of grapefruit and mango with a touch of sweet pineapple. Very sweet and tropical.

Taste brings a lot of papaya, along with some grapefruit and sweet mango and pineapple. A touch of bitter pine on the end.

The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Extremely smooth and creamy. Slightly dry and subtly bitter on the end of each sip.

Overall, a fantastic DIPA. Not a ton of balance but the flavor profile is excellent and the mouthfeel is as smooth and drinkable as it gets.
