Look: light hazy orange
Smell: tropical and piney
Taste: overripe peach and orange finishes with a slightly sweet alcohol that counteracts the bitterness and also finishes a little piney
Feel: low carbonation and about average for feel.
Overall: an enjoyable beer

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. No Comment March 27th 2017.

Mostly clear bodied, with a pale amber orange color. Good amounts of fine carbonation at a moderate pace. Head creation is a bit minimal but sturdy, reaching just over two fingers and a bleach white appearance. Excellent ring lacing and swiss cheese fine bubbles in the head, with some staying power.

Good solid dank and tropical hop notes permeate the nose. Aroma hits of sticky pineapple and melon primarily, with excellent earth tones. Nice balance too and a good bounce between them with neither really dominating or taking over. Small hints of malt sugars but nothing large. Very nice.

Very interesting palate. Good mix of pineapple notes, but definitely more attack with earth and spicy like hop bitterness to match. Peppery pineapple flavors mix in with light bitterness in the mid palate. Juiced warmth with good herbal bite on the finish that really lingers. A good malt coating as well that just adds a touch of sweetness but lets the hops and bitterness do the talking. Pungent, tropical, and earthy blasting.

A neat dank angle for a brew, and one that does taste like it smells. Very solid and tasty.

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with one and a half finger head, decent retention and tons of lacing.

Aroma is about equal parts citrus, stone fruit, and pine. Of those it's orange, apricot, and an earthy pine.

Taste follows the nose, big orange and grapefruit, some peach and grapefruit, little resinous pine. Little caramel malt sweetness up front giving way to a bold but not overpowering piney grapefruit bitterness.

Medium to full bodied, sticky, low to moderate carbonation, drying.

This is a decent and tasty IPA. I wouldn't turn one down but I don't think I'd actively seek it out compared to other options. Carbonation is a little low for my tastes. It's a fairly safe IPA, nothing remarkable about it but you can always drink it.

This is consistently one of the best IIPAs I've had. Whether out of a bottle of on draft it's flavor and aroma character is the same. FULL orange & papaya / mild pineapple with dankness and a small whiff of the sweet malt aroma-wise. Totally distinctive. Flavor is in keeping with that, very smooth and nary any hint of the 8.2%, dangerously so. I look forward to this beer every time I can get it and fortunately I don't need to spend a day standing in a line to get it.
