Appearance: Pours a pale and completely clear champagne color that bubbles. Minimal head.
Aroma: Aroma of malt liquor. Some very light lemongrass aromas. Pale crackers.
Taste: Yeasty and peppery on the front. Some tart lemon citrus follows. Ends with a subtle pale cracker malt. Some malt liquor flavor.
Feel: Light and minimal carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean. Dry and no apparent alcohol.

Overall: A smooth & light American lager. Light citrus and malt liquor flavors. Easy to drink and hits the style well.

12oz can dated 11/7/18 poured I to a pint glass has a pale, pale, yellow body with constant rising bubbles. A strong 1+in head of white foam falls to a whispy island and leaves the glass clean.
Aromas of bready malt dominate and are joined in the flavor with a pleasant grassiness.
Mouthfeel is clean and light.
Overall this goes with everything, won't hurt anyone, and drinks all day long. Cost is the only point Spiteful loses to CoorMilBud. Support local.

Look is almost clear/water with a hint of yellow.
Smell is extremely light with just hints of the hops.
Taste is watered down, almost like a domestic light beer.
Feel is meh.
Overall this is a mediocre beer.

10/16/18 (Chicago): $6 16 oz. 4.7% ABV draft pour at Finley Dunne's into pint glass. Clear blond pour, light carbonation, thin white head. Faint malt aroma. Light malt taste. Thin mouth feel and texture. Overall OK offering but could have used more flavor.

Had on tap. This nails the style in the appearance and feel, with a light golden pour and a bready complexion. Taste is bread, lemon, malt, and some wheat, perfectly balanced. Nothing that will blow you away, but a solid light lager

12oz can, PKGD 06/23/18. Pale golden body with a white head that disappears very quickly. Grassy hops, faint citrus, and pale malt for aroma. Modest flavors with notes of biscuity malt with a touch of honey and nut; modest grassy hop bitterness with a hint of lemony citrus. Lighter body, lower carbonation, quite balanced finish. This one just didn't do it for me.

$8.99 USD per sixer at a Whole Paycheck in Chicago, IL. Initial gut reaction to my first can below:

Has a nice crisp mouthfeel, helping keep it refreshing and drinkable in tandem with its dry grainy flavour.

Tastes like an all-malt lager to me; I look for either rice or corn and can't find it.

2-row/pilsner malts lend this its simplistic but enjoyable taste, with scintillae of cereal grains in there too.

Smooth, assertively carbonated, and very approachable with no faults in terms of off flavours or mouthfeel issues.

As drinkable as any other all-malt lager I've had, though casual drinkers of more watery adjunct-laden lagers may find this too full-bodied for their tastes. It'd make a good stepping stone beer for them, in any case, and I'm pleased to see another solid lager in the Chicago market.

That said, its simplicity and subdued flavour do hold it back, and I can't say I'd buy another sixer of this over other craft lagers (e.g. Founders') even though I'll enjoy polishing off the 5 cans I've left.

Cloudier than many lagers, lemonade color, with minimal head. A faint citrus on the aroma.

This may sound odd, but it tastes like beer, in the most traditional way. If you wanted to introduce someone to beer who’s never had it before this is the one. It’s beauty is in its simplicity. I really enjoy it.

Love the dry finish. This beer is incredibly drinkable and a staple in my fridge.

Pours a cloudy straw color. Thick white sudsy head fizzles and dissipates steadily leaving no residual head.

Aroma has notes of grain, malts, slight lemon hints, and a hint of sweetness. Very pleasant aroma.

Taste follows the nose with notes of grain, malts, slight lemony hoppiness on the finish. Definite hint of bitterness on the finish.

Feel is light, crisp and drinkable. Medium carbonation.

Overall this is a really well done, flavorful American lager. Not sure if its an AAL or a lite lager, but its one Id happily drink again. The flavor is definitely a step above non-craft macros.
