Looking forward to more to come from Spiteful Brewing!! Picked this up and it was selling fast got the 2nd last btl a Skokie Binnys!

Poured with a few buddies! Very dark with a thin tan head that stayed pretty consistent! Smelled of Roasted barley, Licorice and molasses. Tastes great the ABV is not apparent at all, pretty light though for an Imperial Stout. The molasses and some piney hops come through great. A great Stout and love the Name!! Def have to find more of this and am looking more to come Great Job!!

(Served in a tulip glass)

A- This beer pours an inky black body with a thick creamy coco tan head that fades to a thick ring. It is a bit too dense to see any carbonation.

S- The big earthy black roasted malt has some green woody hops aroma to follow.

T- The smooth flavor grows to a full rounded black malt character with some coffee roasted malt and mellow charcoal notes that linger through the aftertaste. There is no real bitterness but a nice fuggle green hop flavor in the finish that supports the malt nicely.

M- The medium mouthfeel has a gentle alcohol warmth and a nice thick texture in the finish.

O- This beer is full of nice big dark roasted flavors but is is very drinkable and a nice hop support with clean yeast. The alcohol is well hidden making this a nice solid stout with English and American qualities.
