Peppercorn, Grainy, Bitter, Meow
Simcoe hop addition in this APA, that is all are palates need with the range it displays. The Pilsner malt holds this brew together well. Grainy, bready, & nutty. Hoppiness goes a little catty but does not lash out. Not your usual APA which makes it fun and interesting rather than just jumping through the typical hoops to be one.

Bright pale gold body, streaming carb trails visible, ample head of white foam. Some soapy arcs of drippy lacing form in the glass, and there's a steady skim on the surface after a few sips.
Aromas of candied orange peel, woody vines, cat pee (the name seems to be an allusion to where bike messengers go to relieve themselves).
Very light and somewhat crisp, big citrus in the form of candied orange peel again, firm resiny bitterness that sticks in the teeth a little bit. Some trace pale malts and possibly wheat in the background. Some lingering hop flavor, could use a touch more to really shine. Light enough to be an APA,hopped to an IPA level. Nice and drinkable, seems like a session beer until the abv creeps up. Solid Simcoe APA.

I'm surprised this isn't rated higher. An extremely refreshing and bold pale ale. This is packed with dank, hoppy, resinous aromas. The flavor is like hop resins, rubber cement, grapefruit peel, and cannabis. The simcoe hops really shine with just a hint of malt.
Try drinking out of the can. It seems to pack more of a punch that way. Awesome job Spiteful!

First of all, look at the name. If you poured it into a tulip you've missed the point completely. Next if you live on IPAs and love that life well then you won't like this. If you are so tired of the HOP level oneupmanship that dominates current the craft brew religious insanity then this just might be for you. Drink it from the can! After a week of drinking this well balanced bright ale, everything else will taste like it's loaded with corn syrup!

I bought a can of this off the single shelf at Binnys. It poured a clear yellow with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had citrus peel and pine. The taste is slightly bitter through the drink but still easy to drink. There is tangerine sweetness. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's on the cuse of being a fantastic beer....hopefully it will morph into a 90 percenter.

Pours a chill hazed straw yellow with a half finger of white foam.
Citrus, melon, tropical fruit, and floral.
Floral, citrus, grassy hops with a bready and toast like malt backbone.
Light-bodied, medium carbonation, soft, crisp.
Overall, decent but nothing to write home about.
