Somewhere between brazenly bold and enchantingly sweet, this New Mexican Lager is neither American nor Mexican. This crisp brew has a lacy white head and delightful golden hue to match the sunny state it homages. Well-balanced, deceptively complex, yet simple in finish; this is a lager you enjoy in any of the 4 gentle Zia seasons. Beban Profundamente Amigos!

A solid offering. There are better NM breweries, but this is good enough to sit back and drink a couple.

Clear and deep golden hued body; fine one-finger thick head, dense and creamy, lasting. Toasted grain aroma. The taste is warm, toasted wheat; bread crust; a very nice element of gentle hop bitterness. Medium body; crisp and warm on the palate; leaning towards an overall dry character.
This beer reminds me of a Vienna lager more than anything else with its decidedly toasty, grainy taste and smell. Don't confuse this beer with the myriad of relatively light, adjunct Mexican-lager stylings, this one is meaty and robust. Very nice.

Copper-colored. Small white head. A little bit of lace.
Bready aroma, some grassy hops.
White bread taste, late mild hops.
Light and easy to drink. Perfect beer for a hot summer day.

***Same beer as the "Cerveza Mexican Lager", I think they had to change the name for legal reasons***
Aroma: bready, rich roasted malt
Appearance: light copper to golden body, bright clarity
Flavor: malt forward, subtle bitterness, slightly dry finish, no esters
Mouthfeel: medium-light body, smooth, moderately-low carbonation
A lite Vienna lager, ridiculously easy drinking, they serve it with a lime at the brewery (decline the lime if you remember).
