Pink clear with pale pink head fine bead
Smell is sweet like bubblegum and faint fruit
Mild sweet feel medium carbonation and light malt with fruity dry finish
Taste has a mix of wheat and berry yet not overly sweet upfront..builds with light acidity and mild cherry tang
Overall decent fruited wheat not overly fruity no jolly rancher-like stickiness

Elephants on Parade

No date stamped. 12oz can poured into Lindemans flute.

Appearance - Hazy pink body with sall white head. 3

Smell - Faintly fruity. 3

Taste - Fruit and cardboard. 3

Mouthfeel - Too astringent for a fruit beer. 1.75

Overall - The astringency ruins the possibility for a session beer, and the lack of complexity makes it too boring for a tasting beer. 1.75

On-tap at Monks' Corner Taproom, Albuquerque, NM

A: The beer is clear light yellowish red in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a thin white head.
S: Light to moderate aromas of raspberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of cherries.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked how the taste of this beer had balanced flavors of cherries and raspberries.

Serving type: on-tap

people should be talking about this beer! for all the mediocre raspberry, or fruited beers in general for that matter, this is so far ahead of the curve, it was a brilliant surprise and one of my most enjoyed and memorable recent beers. i expected nothing from it, not negative or positive, just coming into something i knew nothing about. this is pink and heady and frothy and almost creamy looking, some hazy but not at all messy. aroma here is just like the taste, tart and fresh raspberries at the peak of ripeness, the best of the sweet and the tang, incredibly bold, and really true to the fruit, its amazing, they must have used a ton of them! there is a really cool yeast and grain back and forth here too, raw wheat and the malty wheaty froth, but its also got a cleanness not common in the style, especially with fruit, and also this slight yogurt weirdness, flashing in for just a second, not puckery or sour, but on pitch with the tartness of the raspberries and really accentuating them, gosh its good. the berries linger through the dry finish, a white wine note, almost a champagne yeast thing, raspberries for miles. its super well carbonated too. maybe i am giving this beer too much credit, but i have had a lot of these, some unheard of brewery doing a fruited wheat, and this just sets a new standard for that, and proves again why every single beer out there is worth trying. you never know what kind of gems you will find if you turn over enough rocks. this is sensational beer, brilliant use of raspberries, and a real highlight for me lately...

It's pink, so get over that. Crisp, refreshing wheat beer. Perfect anytime, but particularly on a hot patio. Love this beer.

Looks like red grapefruit juice in the glass. Taste is very nice refreshing fruity beer beverage. Great for relaxing on the patio on a hot day
