First stop in NYC last week and enjoyed that they had immediate seating for a gang of 8. Prompt service for initial beers and food orders came quick. Selection was pretty good, more wide than deep.

Vibe is old world English/Irish bar. Awesome back area. Quality is good clean lines, fresh beer. Service was hit or miss. Selection is fair, 25 drafts lots of different styles. Food was pretty good. Wings were great.

A very cool spot in a neighborhood we rarely get to. Jam packed on a Friday night. Service was remarkably quick given the crowd. A terrific tap list, with great local selections prominently featured. The food was the only negative for us. Ho hum scotch egg and pretzel. Burger was decent but no more.

Great place for drinks for sure.

This pub has a warm, cozy look and feel in spite of its fairly large size. It has lots of wood with welcoming staff and friendly patrons. After putting in a lot of miles walking around Manhatten this place was a very comforting oaisis from the sea of concrete and an outstanding spot to quench our thirst. They have a very nice selection of draughts, as you would expect, plus interesting food. We didn't order much to eat but I do remember a side of roasted brussell sprouts which were delicious. We visited twice in the late afternoon and it wasn't very crowded although on Friday it was picking up. We enjoyed our brief visits here and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys craft beer with a nice atmosphere.

This place shines for its unpretentious approach. Very busy the day I went, but the bartender was incredibly personable and even let me have a beer for the discounted price 5 minutes after happy hour ended. I've gone to my share of places where 30 seconds after 7, I had to pay full price. I understand, but it's ridiculous. I ordered a flight, which was average in price for NYC, but I enjoyed their extensive selection of brews, especially one offs from bigger breweries I know and a bunch of local beers. It was a very loud venue, but for a bar, I expect that. My food was excellent; a perfectly cooked burger and well done fries go a long way. Hope this place makes a good impression. It's the sort of place midtown needs.

The place is new and I would describe it as an upscale Irish bar - when I visited they were undergoing a renovation due to damage from SuperStorm Sandy so they only had open the bar area and the front dining area. Clean and somewhat modern in decor, the place had a nice energy without being too loud - quite easy to hold a conversation though in the background it was all 1990s music.

Beers were well poured with a proper amount of head and served in proper glassware. The beers were served promptly, tasted fresh, and were at the correct temperatures.

Service was friendly and prompt - we had a nice Irish gentleman as our bartender and he was knowledgeable about the beers. When one of them on the menu kicked and was no longer available, he was quick to offer some alternatives that were similar in taste/style. Seemed to be good at describing the different beers for other patrons that had a number of questions.

They had about 40 beers on tap as well as about another 50-60 available in bottles across a range of styles. Most were US craft breweries on tap but there were some imports as well - mostly from Belgium, Germany, and the UK.

The food menu was limited on the night we visited due to the aforementioned renovation so they were only serving cold food - we had the local cheese plate as well as the charcuterie and homemade pickles. Everything we had was very nicely presented and quite tasty.

Prices were a touch higher than some of the other NYC places but they are located in an area without a lot of competition.

They have about 40 taps, and they will let you do 4 4.5oz samples for $10, which is great for NYC. There were about 6 IPAs on, and they had a few good Founders beers on as well when I was there. They had a pretty good mix of styles on including a couple sours.

Our bartender was great. He was very friendly and telling jokes.

We had about 4 items from the menu. Two were very good (wings, pretzel), and two were fine (soup, fried pickles).

I guess it's more of an irish pub feel but very clean. Great atmosphere. We were digging the 90s music.

Great new place that's only been open for a few months. Excellent addition to that neighborhood. Visited on a Thursday and there was a nice crowd but not too packed. Very good beer selection with about 40 draughts and 40 bottles. I had some Flower Power and Founders Brekfast Stout plus a few others. Had an excellent bacon and blue cheese burger with great garlic fries. Met the owners as well and they were very nice. I'll be back in town in a week for work and I'll definitely be coming back.
