After a long absence, I have recently started going to Omaha again for work. I’m glad to see all the new beer & food options in the downtown area.

Tonight I went to the Tap house.

It is a U shaped space with a L shaped bar in the middle of the front two spaces. There is a large communal table, booths, high & low tops.

There is high ceilings and lots of natural light. Beer decorations on the walls.

There are plenty of TVs to catch a game. Rock music played at a level that was just low enough not to impede conversation.

Service is friendly and beer savvy. They are free with samples.

I counted 26 beers on tap, mainly from Midwest breweries. They offer the most Mill Stream beers on tap I have ever seen. Beer menu seems well thought out and balanced between styles.

They were getting ready for a Bells tap takeover when I was there. I like to see these types of events.

I thought the food was better than average bar grub. They offer a huge selections of burgers and I liked that they offered both traditional and dry rubbed wings in a wide variety of styles.
