Color is the orange shade of amber, topped with a fine-grained head in the Affligem chalice. It's quite lovely. Aroma has some piney hops and a whiff of fermenting pineapple. Quite spritzy in the mouth with a distinct tang, though less acidic than a lot of IPAs.

Mellow malt with a sweet undertone and lots of fruit. This tastes fairly strong, though the alcohol doesn't seep through. Quite aromatic. Even a taste of fruitcake. Very carbonated, which adds to the refreshing quality. It's kind of a hop soda sensation. This would be good on tap with a little less concentrated carbonation. Long mango taste with a touch of passion fruit and sharp unripe pineapple. Sweet apple juice and the bitter aftertaste.

This is a thoroughly drinkable brew, deeply imbued with hop flavors. Personally I don't see anything wrong with an IPA that's not horribly bitter, though this might not appeal to the hopoholic seeking more punishment. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Bottle Works in Seattle.

Pours a gold color with a foamy white head. Smells fruity. Taste is balanced, malt up front with a grapefruit and lemon flavor on the finish. Mild fruity bitterness. 6 hop varieties used according to the label.

Clear gold with slight orange tint. Four fingers of bone colored head that lasts at least ten minutes. Rings of lace as head drops.
Smell is resins from hop oil.
Taste is dank hop resinous bitterness. Some bready malts lend support. The hops are starting to reveal some orange zest and some floral aspects.
Mouthfeel is medium and good carbonation level. Finish is dry and moderately bitter.
Overall a pleasant Northwest style IPA. Not a mind blowing hop bomb but certainly a pleasant and well crafted brew. The first beer I have had from this brewery. I am looking forward to tasting more styles from them.

Respectable IPA heavy on the malt, fragrant and floral, lighter on the hops, This is the first beer I've had from this relatively new brewery in WA and I enjoyed it. Relatively inexpensive at under $10 for a 6 of cans - for that reason good for a session or entertaining.

A: Pours a translucent golden yellow with a frothy, two finger off white head. The head settles to a finger, but sticks around the whole time. This beer has serious legs. Minimal carbonation.

S: Piney, bitter citrus rind, sweet dried apricot and a hint of melon. Prominent bready malt profile. A touch of alcohol on the nose.

T: Relatively muted flavor profile. Some dried fruit sweetness of apricot and raisin. A
Hint of pine and citrus.

M: Minimal carbonation, almost none. Syrupy.

D: Not too drinkable. There's some citrus and pine at the beginning, but as I sit here and the beer approaches room temperature it seems to fall apart. Flat, bitter and flavorless. The body is relatively thick, almost syrupy. I would suggest drinking this one ice cold for the highest and best level of enjoyment, underwhelming at best with some unpleasant aspects.

Pours a yellowish copper and clear, with a sudsy head that retreats and leaves a nice but brief lacing. Smell is typical IPA, pine with citrus and flowery notes but little else. The taste echoes the aroma, a surprising amount of hops flavor that isn't tamped down by by a lot of sweet malt. It's sweet, mind you...it's just more of a light, fresh, watermelon sweetness rather than an overbearing and syrupy fruit punch type of sweetness. (At least that's the best analogy I can come up with.) Although I don't find it overly flavorful, it is quite refreshing and carries its alcohol well. Not too bad, hopefully this is sticks around in the summer, where its profile would be much more appreciated.

Everything I love about IPAs is right here.
Attractive bright green label. Bomber poured into pint glass. Pours a lovely orange-copper with white head. The huge aroma is a delight. Flavors are citrus, pine, and floral. Not too bitter, and just hoppy enough. Drinks easy, feels balanced with a nice slightly dry finish. Overall, this IPA wont blow you away, but you really can't find a fault either, its darn good!

22oz bomber

Pours a fairly solid copper body with a HUGE off white head. Poured mostly foam on a very non aggressive pour. It's almost like someone shook it up. (but it had been sitting still in my fridge for a few days) Upon finishing the first glass I poured the remainder... And it did the same thing ! Good retention though. decent lacing.

A prominent malt smell overall, a little pine underneath. No detectable fruit notes

Taste follows the smell. Very malty. A nice slightly bitter finish

The feel was a bit on the thin side. With the huge amount of carbonation this was to be expected.

The good; 7.20 ABV. The bad; Way too much carbonation. If you prefer a malt forward IPA try this one. But if you are into the hops keep going.
