The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated. There wasn’t any lacing. The smell started off with a light ginger sweeping into light citrus tones over some light refreshing floral tones. The taste was slightly sweet with the ginger combining a nice spice surrounding the flavor of the citrus. Wheat is fairly tame to allow the ginger to be the main flavor all around. There’s no aftertaste with a quick sweet to semi-spiced ginger finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. The ginger is fairly tame on my tongue allowing the citrus and floral aspects add a nice sweet soothing crisp feel. Overall, I say this was a nice American pale wheat ale with the ginger side being somewhat tame and adding some other nice tones to make a nice session on a late Summer’s day.

Not a great first introduction to Foley, this ginger wheat is not particularly gingery or wheaty. To be fair, I didn't drink it as fresh as I could have, but those flavors don't just go away...

Pours clear, despite being unflitered, with a nice creamy head. Has some light estery notes, but not many, some hay, not much else to speak of. No perceptible ginger. Bummer. Fine to drink, but bland.

Pours golden with a dense white head. Ginger on the nose. Intriguing taste due to the Ginger keeps pulling you back to try it again. Wow! Enjoyable Beer!!
