I missed out on Mutiny on tap so to make up for it, I picked up Skeleton Crew. There's 12lbs of hops per barrel that went into making this beer.

Mango, passionfruit and citrus peel in the nose. 12lbs of hops right in your face, just as I like it!

Tastes better than it smells because you get a really nice pineapple kick upfront. Lots of sweet bready malt underneath.

Finishes nearly dry with a lingering sweet malt aftertaste.

Holy Foley! I better get my ass to Brandon sometime to check this place out. You should too!

L-The beer pours a very slightly hazy golden with a 2 finger pale white head. The head recedes to a thin layer, but the lacing is copious and lingers.
S-The nose is grapefruit, pine, and lots of both.
T- The taste is grapefruit first, followed by piney dankness. There is lingering bitterness above the level of some of Foley's other brews.
F- Carbonation is light. The beer is creamy and the mouthfeel is on the full side of medium.
O- Another top notch offering from Foley Bros. This one is closer to Pieces of 8, than Fair Maiden. Maybe a cross between Prospect and Pieces of 8. In other words it's terrific.

Big Juicy DIPA from Foley Bros. This is up there with HT, Focal, Second Fiddle, and Sip. Keep your eye out for this one.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a burnt orange color with floaties roaming all around. Slim finger-ed white foamy head quickly dissipates. Filmy white rimmed lacing roams all around. The smell started off with the sweet danky onion and then the sweet grassy tones riding into a delicate bitter pine underneath. The taste was moderately danky sweet with the bitter pine still underneath. Sweet onion dankiness to piney bitterness in the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body sitting between the sipping to sessionable quality nicely. Carbonation hits spot on. Piney hops hit in the bitter portion to play with a nice harsh feel as a DIPA. Overall, wow, Foley Brothers, I always knew they did the IPA/DIPA thing well.

Another great brew from Foley Brothers. Bright amber appearance with a fruity thick moist head, big mango and pineapple nose and taste, and a real nice bitter hop finish.

Hazy pale gold body under a few fingers of white foam... Lots of clean pine on the nose with undercurrents of pale fruits... The palate reveals citrusy and tropical impressions, but without much significant sweetness; runs more toward bitter, with the pine airing it out and drying the palate... Light fruit and mild dankness toward the finish leave a faint shellac behind... Fairly light-bodied and smooth... Very interesting beer... double dry hopped... no canning date...
