12oz bottle with no bottling date. Poured into an unlabeled snifter 8/29/2014 at 39F.

A- Medium dark amber body, two finger white head with good retention; drops into a thick frothy film that sticks around for quite a while. Bits and pieces of lacing. [3.5]

S- Clean Centennial-like hops- some citrus and pine mostly- mixed in with a bit of bread, caramel malt sweetness. For the most part, it delivers what is expected and not an ounce more. [3.25]

F- Reminds me a lot of a local beer of ours in Madison, Ale Asylum Hopalicious. Grainy bready malt with a fine amount of hops following the grains; but otherwise just another decent APA. Finish is a slick mix of citrus and sweet grain. [3]

M- Medium bodied, certainly not a wilting flower in terms of body which is quite nice and dry but with good carbonation and resinous properties. Not difficult to drink in particular. [3.25]

O- Very solid local APA, not sure what the pricing is behind this but if its a $7.99/6-pack, this is a decent daily drinker type of deal. [3.25]

Final score: 3.15

Great introduction to the Pale Ale style for people who are just getting into craft beer, the hops wont overpower a novice. At $6.99 a six pack great session beer for even the most hardcore hopheads

Smooth, yet flavorful, has that Iowa grain feel. This was I think the first true craft beer I ever had, it used to be called "The Answer", delish!

Draft at the source. Hazy copper orange body with a thin but lasting white collar. Malty, bready aroma with hop character emerging more in the flavor than the nose. Light citrus and toasted bread. Would like more hops vs. malt.

A little bit of a lemon flavor in it, and some other mild citrus flavors that don't add anymore bitterness to it. All right, but can be outdone by Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale.

Style I had on tap was a GPA. Easy drinking with a decided German Malt/Hop flavor profile. Nice.
